Helping a professional from a Christian perspective refers to the process of integrating religious virtues in assisting an individual in to increase productivity in their workplace (Blount & Lambie, 2018). Christian leaders focus on ensuring that they improve the lives of individuals in the workplace by encouraging Christian virtues such as faith and trust to be the guiding tool for their work. Helping professionals from a Christian perspective can be seen as a way through which people focus on ensuring that they achieve a development project by focusing on promoting integrity in other professional areas. The teaching and guiding procedure for counseling among professionals should respect the words of God and the professional’s consents. Helping professionals from Christian perspective focuses on helping people to understand the mechanisms they can apply in improving work performance from religious morals view.
Entwistle, (2015) asserts four different models for integrating faith into psychology. The first model is the credibility approach which focuses on filtering secular ideas by using the Bible as the guiding tool. The process focuses on ensuring that the psychological models which are likely to conflict with Christian teaching, especially faith, are eliminated. The psychological factors are screened with the scripture thus examining their ability to fit in theological education. Rejecting such teachings creates an opportunity for faith to fit in the psychological aspects which support faith. Convertibility model is the situation where people and scholars tend to filter theological facts by psychological teachings. The convertibility process focuses on eliminating any form of religious education or faith that does not fit in the psychological teaching. In the convertibility teaching approach, psychology becomes the guiding tool for choosing the right ideas of religion that can fit in the subjective instructions.

Conformability approach also is applicable in integrating faith into psychology. In this case, theology becomes the gage through which psychological teaching can be seen. Rather than focusing on filtering, psychological facts that do not line with the religious ideas need to be reformed to favor Christian teaching. Based on this model, religion becomes the guiding tool for psychology teaching (Entwistle, 2015). Alternatively, the compatibility model can also take place in ensuring that there is a balance between Christian teaching and psychological facts. This process focuses on bringing only the religious and mental phenomena that are inconsistency thus combining the ideas to promote the integration of faith in psychology.
The above models pose an essential approach in ensuring that I integrate faith in helping professional. In my approach, I will focus on understanding what the person believes. In this case, reading the Bible daily or attending regular church services to develop ideas on faith. This process will play an essential role in identifying the role of religion in handling professional problems. Preserving testimony is also a viable approach for integrating faith into helping professional. In preserving the professional and religious, leading other people to question your beliefs or something you have done contributes to losing an individual’s testimony (Blount & Lambie, 2018). For example, this questioning adds to the loosing of insensitivity to others as well as promoting unethical decisions at the workplace. In promoting faith in helping professional, supporting testimony preservation will be a viable approach for ensuring that people acquire the best knowledge needed in acting within the religious virtues. Maintaining professional requires incorporating faith in every activity both in a workplace or interacting with other people in the community. As a result, I will encourage people to focus on practicing faith in every event to build awareness of the role of religion in their action.
