For a long time, communication has played a critical role in the growth and development of business enterprises around the world. Companies rely on communication to be able to engage employees and motivate them to act in a certain way. In addition, communication allows manager to share the visions of the company and inform workers about the roles role that they need to play to ensure that the company moves in the right direction (Jofre, 2011). In the recent years, communication has also become the backbone of all the major business and organizational activities and operations. Without communication, it is not possible for companies to achieve their goals and come up with innovative products. It is for this reason that attempts are always made to create and use the right communication strategies that will help move the organization in the right direction. This paper will examine and evaluate a communication strategy that Apple Inc. can use to facilitate and promote change and innovation. 

Apple Inc. is one of the most competitive and innovative companies in the world. The company is known for producing and selling some of the most innovative and revolutionary products in the market. The employees leverage their skills to ensure that the customers get products that are in line with their needs and expectations (Steyn, 2017). Furthermore, attempts have been made to ensure that the organization remains a leader in the market where it operates. One of the main factors that has allowed the company to continue exceeding the expectations of the customers is communication. Apple Inc. employees appreciate the importance of communication and use it as a tool that aids the process of creating revolutionary products. In addition, the employees communicate with one another on regular basis to ensure that they are working towards the achievement of the desired goals.

Apple Inc. needs to employ the open communication strategy to be able to promote change and the culture of innovation. Being one of the leading companies when it comes to performance, the organization requires a strategy that will ensure that the message gets to all the main stakeholders. Furthermore, the company needs a strategy that will enhance operational efficiency. Therefore, it must find ways of ensuring that there is a two-way communication process at all times. In addition, it is imperative for the company to give employees the chance to provide their views regarding the strategies that are being used by the company to promote innovation or deal with change. The approach will ensure that the employees know what is happening in the company (Vangelisti, 2018). Furthermore, the employees will be better placed to make meaningful contribution to the growth and success of the company. It is imperative to state that the open communication mold entails using both proactive internal and external exchange of message. The primary objective is to ensure that all employees can understand what is taking place in the organization and focus their efforts to the realization of common objective. Through this approach, it is also possible to create awareness about the organization and enable employees to use the existing resources to come up with products that exceeds the expectations of the clients. 

When utilizing the open communication method, it is also imperative to develop and use a concise and clear message regarding the issue that is being addressed. In the present case, it will be imperative to remind the employees about the importance of innovation and how it can be achieved through effective communication and team work (Vangelisti, 2018). In particular, the employees need to be informed that there is no meaningful human progress that has been made without sharing of ideas and collaboration between various stakeholders. Furthermore, the creation of new and innovative products and systems cannot happen in a silo. Instead, it requires the input of different people who are interested in solving a problem and finding lasting solutions to some of the challenges that human beings encounter in life. Therefore, employees need to understand the needs of the customer, work as a team to find the right solutions, and focus on exchanging ideas and insights about the issue that is being addressed. Through collaboration, it is possible to create innovative products that will give company an upper and in the market. 

Employees are likely to react different to the message that is being passed across. In addition, there are those who may resist the message especially when they feel that it will lead to changes that can affect their jobs. However, it is anticipated that majority of the employees will receive the message in a positive way. The argument is based on the fact that Apple Inc. has always strived to promote a culture of innovation. In addition, the company has always motivated its employees to focus on creating revolutionary products that will change the lives of the customers and give the organization an upper hand in the market. However, there are those who may not understand the need for constant innovation. Therefore, they may try to sabotage the process and put minimal emphasis on the process of innovation (Jofre, 2011). Therefore, it is important to tailor the message in a way that such people may find appropriate. Since there are people who do not understand the need to innovate, it is imperative to highlight the importance of creating innovative products and how it will affect the performance of the organization in both the local and international markets. 

In conclusion, innovation has become one of the factors that can differentiate successful companies from the unsuccessful ones in the market. Apple is an example of the organizations that have been working to realize their full potential in the market. The company has been leveraging its capabilities and strengths to meet the needs of the clients. Through open communication method, it is possible for the organization to promote a culture of innovation. The process entails ensuring that all employees are aware of what is going on in the organization and motivating them to focus on creating revolutionary products.
