I love Yosemite National Park. This is a place to in the United States that I am connected. It is located in Central California and it is one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. It became a National park in 1890 and it was labeled a world Heritage Site. Since then, it has become part of tourist destination. It covers an area of 747, 956 acres and occupies four counties including south of Madera County, East of Mono, and at the center of Mariposa and Tuolumne. Yosemite is recognized as the most dramatic geographical sights. The rock formation in Yosemite has been a part of various photography and it comprises of stunning travelers for centuries. It is known for its ancient giant sequoias, deep valleys, towering granite, biological diversity, meadows, mountains, lakes, clear streams, glaciers, and waterfalls. There are a variety of things to do in Yosemite National Park including Glacier Point, El Captain, Half Dome, Merced River Rafting, Majestic Yosemite Dining Hall, Tuolumite Meadows, Wawona Tunnel View, and Yosemite Falls. 

On average, approximately 4 million people visit the park annually. The park supports animal and plant diversity thus one of the biggest and least uneven habitat section in the Sierra Nevada. The habitat is suitable for over 160 rare plants. Other astounding features in the park include has distinctive soils describing the controlled ranges that most of these plants occupy. In addition, the Yosemite Park has exceptional remote geologic formations that supports the plant diversity. The geology of the park comprises of fragments of older rock and granite rocks. The park comprises of five fundamental vegetation zones including alpine, subalpine zone, upper montane forest, lower montane forest, oak woodland, and chaparral. These unique features attracts different visitors to its scenic in the contemporary society.

Yosemite is known for its high concentration of waterfalls within a small region. The largest glacier in the park include Lyell Glacier. The best part of Yosemite is the Tunnel View, found along the Glacier Point. It is recognized as one of the most common scenic area in all of the park. Form the park’s vantage point, tourists get to view the magnificent Yosemite Valley together with the popular sites of Yosemite including Bridalviel Fall, El Capitan, and Half Dome. The best thing that I loved most about Yosemite is that all of the roads are scenic. One can enjoy driving through the park as they sightsee and connect with the park’s ambience. The most popular scenic drive within the park is along the Tioga Road. Some of the things that I cannot miss doing while at Yosemite is Ice skating in Half Dome Village. This is my favorite sport and Yosemite Park offers me the best place to do this activity. In addition, I love rock climbing camping, and exploring the trails in Yosemite’s. These activities are adventurous and they add significantly to my excitement about nature. Moreover, while at Yosemite, I cannot miss to see Wildlife and Black Bears, see popular viewpoints, and the Yosemite Valley waterfalls. These are the most amazing things that I can see and do while at Yosemite, which makes my life adventurous and appreciate nature for allowing me to see such beautiful scenic sites and features. 

Therefore, Yosemite National Park allows us to sight see and experience a variety of wild things such as the black bears, giant sequoias, and the highest waterfall. Additionally, the park has some of the best hiking routes in California. It has the best scenic views that a tourist can find here. The most significant landmarks in Yosemite Park is the Half Dome and El Captain. These are humongous granites that made Yosemite Valley become the center of climbing. Hence, it is the essence of experiencing first hand outdoor culture of America and breathtaking.
