The declaration document is substantial since it presents significant information regarding behavior analysts, which in return helps clients establish trust and confidentiality with the respective behavior analyst. In addition, it helps the client understand his roles in the practice and the fees charged for the service. Presenting this document saves time required for explaining to the clients my role and the activities under my profession ( Rosenberg & Schwartz, 2019 ). The document is presented to the client and any other person who would be concerned about behavior analysts in their operations. The document can also be presented to judges for legal purposes regarding behavior related issues.
The declaration relates to my ethical responsibilities to the clients through defining norms and ethical values governing my profession. In addition, the declaration analyzes the guidelines governing the behavior analyst profession. Therefore, through presenting the declaration, clients become more familiar with the duties performed by behavior analysts (Lorencatto et. al, 2018). Consequently, they end up considering their services hence improving the benefits of the field. Lastly, the declaration fastens the commitment of behavior analysts towards the ethical responsibilities presented in the declaration hence improving the quality of services presented in the respective field.
