1. How is the divinity portrayed? Describe the divinity’s role within the myth. Zeus is the master and ruler of Olympian gods (Mirzoeff, 2014) . Zeus is the lord of thunder, clouds, and rain. He is a god of fairness. Zeus punishes the iniquitous and also defends the weak. He is married to Hera though he is a god of rain and goddess of the earth.  Odin lives in Valhalla. He is the ruler of the other gods. The warriors who are already dead gather in Valhalla after the death. Odin is the god of poetry, war, wisdom, and magic. Odin sits on his throne where he views the entire world. Ideally, he is the wisest among the other gods. Nevertheless, He has the control to change into what he wants from the smoke to fire and from serpents to fish. Indeed, he is a powerful god

Zeus is also a suitable characteristic of a patriarchal culture, for instance, the Greek society. Zeus is also the most influential god.  Odin gender is male. He has unbelievable wisdom about everything. Having a feminine god would be impractical in a Patriarchal culture. For instance Scandinavian Vikings

He is a rain and a cloud gatherer. Zeus also has a weapon called thunderbolt where he throws it at anyone who angers him. Additionally, he also punishes those who lie or break oaths.

Odin has the knowledge of knowing about everything that has happened or that is happening. Zeus also changes into other things for instance fire, or animals. He also has a supernatural spear and a horse which aided him to achieve the objectives Odin has two ravens. That is Munin and Hugin. They fly out and come back every day having the news of the earth. They also collect information for Odin in order to get informed and make choice s

Within the myth of origin, how does this divinity compare with this other divinities? How does this divinity interact with or compare to divinities of the same gender and to divinities of the opposite gender?

He is the son of Rhea and Cronus of Titans. Cronus was very cruel such that he swallowed children; Rhea saved Zeus by hiding him into a cave. His father Cronus was made to vomit up his children as he was joined by the other gods in order to fight Titans and Cronus so that he can be able to gain to gain the control of the universe. Zeus imprisoned them in the gangland after the overcome. After that, he spat the universe among him and his brothers Poseidon and Hades where Poseidon took the sea and waters, Hades got the underworld, Zeus took the sky, Zeus has therefore selected the supreme power, the mount Olympus and the earth. He is also the ruler of the divinities on mount Olympus both male and female. Zeus is also a wife called Hera and because he has affairs, he is the comparison of a woman Odin is a good god. Though Yamir was cruel, Odin and the gods could not take it longer and they ended up killing him. Odin together with his brother made everything such as earth, moon and the sky. He had a optimistic inaction with his brothers from the parts of Yamir’s brother where they made an agreement between them that he was the most powerful. Ideally, the sisters of Yamir, however, were distressed for the death of their brother and tried to cause the problem for people
5. Identify one character from contemporary culture that shares characteristics of each divinity, and explain why you chose each character. What real-life ideas  Zeus is like a champion in that he punishes the immoral and protects the feeble Zeus is a powerful god. However, he is a creator god because he has an affair and disloyal to his wife Hera .The real-life ideas that are symbolized by the role of Zeus is one of the influential characters which accurate fairness to the wrongdoers and help to protect those who are feeble  In Odin, there is a wicked side which he can abuse his power and be erratic. This situation has happened with many sovereigns in history. Odin had a character of dictatorship which came to power with good intentions where he abused it later, such as Hitler

Additionally, he has a characteristic of a patriarchal culture and is most powerful. Most cultures consider that their goddesses and gods are merciful and injustice. Though there are many believes and cultures both of them have the same questions but the answers may differ.
