It is apparent that education ought to be free for every individual. Based on an ethical perspective, it is unfair that individuals from low income backgrounds end up missing out on many opportunities due to lack of education. It is best for opportunities to be open for all individuals and this would become possible if education was accessible to everyone (Noddings, 2018). For instance, each person should have an equal opportunity to work in air traffic control irrespective of their condition and even if someone with a disability may not be guaranteed of this, the opportunity should be available to them and not ruled out entirely.

It is quite agonizing for people to spend numerous durations taking up loans to finance an expensive education system and yet later on fail to get jobs. This is one of the reason why individuals plunge into depression and experience other heart related elements (Ainscow & Miles, 2008). When education is financed by loans taken up from the bank and yet fails to yield fruits, parents especially end up carrying a heavy burden of debt which they cannot fathom. In addition, some of them spend the rest of their lives paying off such debts, and in the event that they lose their source of income, property which was put out for collateral is repossessed by the lending institution.

Some education processes are very grueling and expensive especially in regards to higher education. For example, if someone is studying law, it is likely that they may end up enjoying a long process. Moreover, additional law qualification necessitates that one learns for between 5 to 7 years, which may turn to be very expensive for some individuals ( Psacharopoulos & Papakonstantinou, 2005 ). If education was made free, it would be easy for such a person to fulfil their dream. Besides, people would end up focusing on developing various sectors of the economy since most of them would have something to offer from their respective jobs thus enriching the nation.

To sum it all up, it is apparent that if education was made free, individuals would get equal employment opportunities. Besides, those from low income backgrounds would still manage to access education incentives unlike the current situation where education is a costly incentive. Also, the pain and agony experienced by those who take up loans to finance education would no longer be experienced. Making education free for all individuals is, therefore the best form of action to take.
