During a regular board meeting by Henry County schools, members addressed many matters. Apart from different presents the board granted to the diverse students and staffs who were successful in the various areas, the agenda was to majorly on business matters. The items discussed were Tentative FY20 budget, which was part of the discussion, and it was approved as was initially requested by the Superintended. Besides, policies were also part of the discussion. The policy BAB was particularly a point of consideration during the meeting. Another discussion was on personal, which also was approved as requested by the superintended. Also, the discussion also focused on the matters of annual copier renewal contract, which was supposed to be approved by the board members. The community's use of the facilities also featured as a critical point for the board members. Finally, the data center equipment and the infrastructure materials all were part of the critical matters in discussion during the board meeting. Board members discussed all these matters as elements that were responsible for enhancing academic achievements for an individual student within the country.
Different people were in attendant in the meeting. The first category of the audience who were also part of the board members was different teachers who took control of the meeting. They were strategizing the manner at which the meeting would take place, and each person was assigned a section to preside over. The second category was students who presided over the entertainment. These individuals took the stage and entertained the audience after they had pledged their allegiance. The third section of people was the students from different high schools that were meant to receive presents during the meeting. Each of them was called forward to receive his or her award. The last section was the board members. These were the primary audience, and they were allowed time to listen and also raise their issues concerning the different subject of the discussion that was ongoing. Since this was a business session board meeting, coupled with the fact that the main agenda was to overseas the success of every student, it was not surprising to see any of this individual in attendance.

Different people did the presentation during the meeting. Depending on the nature of the topic which each of the presenters aimed, the presentation was perfect in my opinion. First, there was a presentation by the band of students who entertained the group. It was an outstanding talent and courage from the students to perform for the audience of this nature. Further, there were different presentations, mostly from the board members who had various matters which they needed clarification from the board members. In general, the presentation was excellent and ethical since there were protocol and procedures which each presenter was to keep for the entire session to be good. It was also formal since most of the presenters approved the motions, so there were limited arguments.
From the board meeting, there were many things I learned that was critical as a teacher. However, the organization of this meeting is what impressed me the most. The meeting was organized from the call to order until the meeting adjourned. Also, members allocated time every part of the meeting. For instance, during the discussion, the facilitator allocated enough time for each of the presenters. It was a time conscious meeting. As a teacher, I would borrow a leaf from this meeting, mostly concerning time consciousness. I want to organize my lessons and the entire curriculum in a manner that is time conscious so that no section is limited by time due to disorganization.
