Friendship is the most important value in my life. I love making new friends and spending time with the existing ones. Every where I go, I automatically make new friends. However, it is often challenging to have lasting relationships with all people. In high school, I was the most popular and loved colleague. I enjoy small conversation, diversity in perception and every moment I spend with my friends. My family members are my best friends I often reach out to my extended relatives too. I am the one who usually starts WhatsApp groups based on friends to share jokes and laugh together. Through friendship, I feel happy and more fulfilled when friends come together and help individuals in society.
My value for friendship has influenced all my decisions in life. At ten years old, I decided to join the ballet team not just because of the dance but because I enjoyed the company of other little girls. I would carry extra an extra dish or snacks to share with the other girls. In my first year in high school I initiated a club named ‘Friendship is Power’. The club welcomed all students to share their experiences, engage in many fun activities and help each other utilize our leisure time. The club helped me understand the power of friendship as we would come together and help people, visit the sick or engage in volunteer work. Besides the friendship club at school, I was a member of the youth club in church. I felt delighted working with people, and this led me to choose a teaching career.

Teaching is the best way to meet many new people and guide them to achieve their dreams. Teaching will help me utilize the values of kindness and affection for all my students. My career focuses on the high school level. I believe that at the teen level, the need for reliable and loyal friends is often high. I would love to guide high school students and instill in them values of love, patience and respect. Moreover, teaching English will help me create an interactive class where every student feels free to give their opinion and air their views.
Besides teaching, I have taken a course in sign language. Following this course, I have enrolled as a member of a local school for the deaf. I engage in teaching and co-curricular activities in this school. I make friends with all people I possibly can and try my best to impact their lives positively. Here in college, I am a member of the ‘Purely friends group’. In this group, we have set specific days for games, community work, meals and personal development. In all these activities, we ensure unity and respect are upheld.
I aspire to run a friendship program that will connect people from all over the world in the future. I would love to learn about diverse people's cultures. The programs’ purpose will be to advocate for friendship with no social status aspects involved. Imagine visiting a friend from another continent and feeling comfortable about it. I will also enhance my education skills by pursuing a master's in teaching. Using my master's degree, I hope to travel the world and motivate students on the importance of meaningful friendship. I want to advocate for friendship based on trust and respect. I believe that if every individual treated the other as a friend, people would care and help each other. This way, there would be less or no homeless people, greed, jealousy and hatred would never be heard of, and all people would live a happy and comfortable life.
