Pizza is one of the dishes whose importance as a snack or in some cases, an actual meal in many demographics in the world cannot be disputed. Although it originated in Italy when tomato was made to be a significant inclusion in focaccia, the mode of preparation differs a little bit from one region to another, based on the pizza ingredients found in different localities. In most cases, the dough is assembled, it is then chilled, rolled out in a big circle and then tomato sauce spread on it. In addition to other additives, shredded cheese is then evenly sprinkled on top of the sauce spread, and it is then cooked. Frozen and delivery pizzas are two major forms in which pizza is sold today. The frozen type is premade and frozen as a form of preservation to ensure it lasts longer. On the other hand, delivery is not ready-made and is mostly made on order. Pizza preferences are mainly based on the advantages and disadvantages attached to either the frozen type or the delivery. Closely related to the above, the differences and similarities can be derived from the pros and cons of either buying a frozen pizza or ordering one. Based on the availability, cost, taste, nutritional value, and general convenience, it could be concluded that Frozen Pizza and Delivery pizza, although they could acutely differ based on the above factors, they could also be similar in a way that makes them good substitutes.

Based on the nutritional value, availability, and the health benefits attached to both types, the similarities’ between Frozen and delivery pizza can be viewed to be similar to a large extent. With the popularity that pizza has gained over the years, both the frozen and the delivery types are pretty much available in different localities in the world. Both pizzas are made in the same way since the ingredients do not dramatically vary. Besides, even when substitutes or when they are tailored to suit a person’s taste, in the preparation stage, both of them are still prepared using the same procedure as well as ingredients. Their easy way of preparation makes it possible for different demographics to access them. Both are therefore available. Besides the above major similarities, generally, both types of pizza can be considered very unhealthy due to the calorie content both of them possess. They, therefore, have very little nutritional value

Major differences between frozen and delivery pizza arise from convenience, taste, and cost flexibility. The basic difference between the two types of pizza is that frozen is preserved through freezing and has to be reheated before consumption, and delivery is delivered fresh and hot and hence does not require reheating. Regardless of the approach, many people today are looking into reducing food wastage, a factor that directly influences the amount of money spent on food products. Frozen pizza could be suitable for consumption a couple of days after purchase, but for delivery, it could easily go bad and go to waste if not consumed a couple of hours after it is prepared. Although it could be preserved in a refrigerator, and hence its likelihood of going bad within a short period of time reduced, the duration it could take it to go bad is much shorter than that of the frozen one. Another major difference is in relation to the cost. The variation between the two arises on the consideration of parameters such as the actual cost of purchasing either a frozen or delivery pizza and other supplementary costs related to time and the resources used to access both types of pizza. The direct cost of buying delivery pizza is higher than that of frozen pizza ("Why Frozen Pizza is Better than Delivery | Wicked Food Company", 2019) . The delivery fee could dramatically differ with one’s location relative to the pizza’s outlet. The further one lives, the higher the fee. On the other hand, however, the cost of frozen pizza is lower in that the direct cost is not influenced by factors such as delivery fees in later. Time taken to wait for delivery pizza to be delivered is another negative implication it has in relation to the frozen type. As soon as one buys the frozen type, the only time factor involved is time taken to heat it. On the other hand, however, every time one orders a delivery pizza, they have to wait for some time. If they have some other urgent matter to attend outside the given locality or they would like to eat it immediately, it becomes a disadvantage. The convenience tied to frozen pizza makes the difference between the two notable. While frozen pizza is could be bought in plenty and consumed at any time the individual wants, it would be a waste to but delivery pizza in bulk because it is likely to go bad. In addition to the above factors, the freshness of delivery pizza makes it differ from the frozen type, which is viewed to differ from the delivery type (Barnes, 2019) . To a large extent, for fresh pizza, it is possible to easily perceive all the tastes in comparison to the frozen one. Another difference comes in the many varieties available for frozen pizza, while for the delivery, they can be viewed as less.

In conclusion, cost, convenience, taste, nutritional value and availability are the parameters that make the delivery and the frozen pizza either similar or different. Although both pizzas are made similar by their nutritional value, health benefits and availability, they differ in that in comparison to delivery pizza, frozen pizza is less costly and more convenient, On the other hand, however, delivery pizza is fresher and all the tastes more vivid in comparison to the frozen type.
