John Hopkins is one of the recognized hospitals that have integrated evidence-based evidence in their operations. Evidence-based practice is seen in the operations of the hospital due to the model that is used in practice, and it is aligned with the mission, vision, and goals of the hospital (Editor, 2014). The mission of John Hopkins is improving the health of the community through education, research, and clinical care. The EPB model revolves around education, research, and practice. The internal and external factors of the culture of the organization are part of the model. In research, is carried out in different ways to ensure that enough evidence is found for purposes of application in healthcare practices. The research methods used are experimental, qualitative, quasi-experimental, and non-experimental. There is also non-research methods used to get evidence at the institution (Newhouse, Dearholt, Poe, Pugh, & White, 2007). These methods are expert opinion, clinical practice guidelines, consumer preferences, clinical expertise, and organizational experience.

John Hopkins work is grounded on evidence-based practice. There is a model that is used in daily operations. It starts with inquiry then practice, which is integrated with learning. The process of practice to learning starts with a healthcare question, evidence, and translation to practice. Best practices are chosen from the evidence, and they are used in practicing improvements (Vera, 2019). The information that I discovered on the John Hopkins website changed my perception about the organization. I gained an understanding of why the institution is considered to be among the best healthcare providers. Evidence is implemented in every step of the operation, and it is not only meant to improve the overall practice but also a way of improving the expertise of the providers (Dang & Dearholt, 2017). The clinicians hired at John Hopkins are educated from the John Hopkins Institute to ensure that they are aware of the best practice they should use in the organization.
