A credible research process entails the adoption of visuals to aid in presenting the information. Graphs and visuals are essential elements in the development of a relevant research report because they enable readers to formulate mental pictures regarding the information delivered. The use of visuals in research processes helps the readers to memorize information and to understand complex concepts. The research project seeks to explain the role of the internet and social media in mass communication using five visuals, which will aid in developing the relevant ideas regarding the research question.

The bar graph is preferred in presenting the educational role of the internet as an element of mass communication because it allows easy observation of trends. A bar graph will allow readers of the research report to compare the prevalence of the internet against other tools of education among the learners. The bar graph is the most ideal visual to present such data because it will aid readers in establishing the relevance of the internet as an educational tool against the traditional tools of education (Kvavik, 2005). This method of presenting data assists learners in mass communication to predict the possible trends that might emerge regarding the educational role of education.
It is the role of social media as an element in mass to aid in the formation of social units, which can allow members of the society to share information and experiences. Figure 2 is a graphical representation of the distribution of Facebook users in the US according to age bracket.

A double bar graph is the ideal visual for presenting the distribution of Facebook users in the US population. A double bar graph allows the researcher to compare the distribution of Facebook usage in both genders from the same bar graph (Sherman, 2019). A double bar graph will assist the reader in harnessing accurate information because they require a thorough procedure in construction and therefore reducing the chances of error. Moreover, it is the role of the internet as an element of mass communication to entertain the members of society. The internet is preferred as a source of entertainment by various users from different countries of the world.

The pie chart is preferred in representing the prevalence of the internet as a tool for entertainment because it partitions entries according to the gravity of their rated percentages and therefore enabling easy comparison of various entries. Pie charts adopt the shape of a circle, which mentally portrays the picture of wholeness. Pie charts are appealing, and therefore, they make a presentation of the report interesting and memorable. (Emm et al. 2015). The pie chart will assist my target audience in formulating a perfect mental picture of the influence of the internet in entertainment affairs. Nevertheless, mass communication has the role of ensuring that members of society access reliable social amenities. The various elements of mass communication are key in articulating the delivery of quality healthcare services to members of the society .
Figure 4 is a Pie Chart Presentation of the Contribution of Some Tools of Mass Communication towards Championing for Better Healthcare Service in the US by July 2015.

The pie chart above is the most ideal visual to present the type of data because it is easy to interpret. Pie charts are preferably the best visual in presenting vital information which requires quick interpretation. Healthcare information in mostly presented in pie charts because they are easy to interpret. Moreover, the choice of a pie chart in this stage of the research process aims and making the presentation of the project fascinating (Srivastava et al. 2015). The pie chart will help the reader of the report to establish the relevance of internet as a tool of mass communication in advocating for social amenities in the society.
Various countries in the world continue to invest in Internet and social media as a vital tool in mass communication. The continued investment in Internet and social media development translates to emergence of new trends in the performance of internet and social media as vital elements in mass communication.

A bar graph is the ideal visual in presenting data that assumes a dynamic nature. The continued investment of countries on the internet and social media has resulted in a trend that requires prediction on the prospected developments in mass communication (Henry-Nickie et al. 2019). The bar graph allows a reader to compared developmental trends and makes conclusions on prospected developments on the phenomenon under observation.
Conclusively, visual elements in research projects help the researcher to develop a pictorial presentation of information. Visuals aid in forming mental pictures that ease the comprehension of various readers of the research report. Graphs and visuals enable researchers to create a connection between related information without the risk of contraction. A research report that adopts visual is easy to read and memorize. Besides, graphs and visuals make research work interesting and appealing to the reader. Credible researchers should adopt the usage of graphs and visuals in developing research reports to ease the efforts of comprehending and memorizing the content. The type of visuals for usage for being chosen carefully to avoid contradictory representation of data.
