The government set a national goal to eradicate health disparities. Food systems have been identified as the only way to reduce health disparities. Agriculture play an important role in the food systems as it has environmental and occupational effects (Neff et al., 2009). An approach on health systems had the goal of recognizing the cause of health disparities. Consequently, health disparities are caused by factors beyond personal choice price and nutrition. It has all to do with all forces that influence affordability of food, nutrient quality and food supply (Danaher et al., 2009). Just like any other place Lock Haven Pennsylvania also has issues concerning health disparities. In lock haven, people value agriculture hence most of the food is straight from the farms. Accessibility of food is through farm markets and community farms. In such places, they try to make food affordable so that most people can access it. Since Lock Haven buys local and fresh foods, they hope to meet the requirement of healthy foods which is fruits and vegetable and good food which is defined as food that is green healthy and affordable.
