As every devout Christian believes, the life and death of Jesus Christ signified an atonement of sin and the creation of a sacrifice through which sinful humans could again be connected with the creator. The first humans, meant by Adam and Eve, transgressed and fell diminutive of the Magnificence of the creator and hence were banished out of the Garden of Eden. However, God sacrificed his only son so that whoever trusts in him may not perish but may earn forgiveness of his sins and inherit everlasting life in a perfect new world. We are living in challenging times whereby belief in the truth and the light and the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ is essential mainly because it helps us to live a life of purpose and deep understanding of our calling.

My Belief

I believe that the original purpose for the creation of man, the universe, and everything in it was so that men could inherit the earth and live eternally as their ruler. As seen by his creation of the Garden of Eden and everything in it, God indeed created everything and saw that everything was okay. According to Piper, (2012), the simple reason why God created the world and an answer that resounds all through his holy word is that he fashioned the world and all in it for his magnificence. Piper refers to the book of Isaiah 43:6 that says "bring everyone whom I created for my glory." Therefore, I believe that everyone and everything that exists today does so because of the fulfillment of the glory of God.

Although many struggles to reconcile the struggles and sufferings of man today with the idea that God is all-powerful and loving and has the ability to eliminate all pain, I am convinced that the creator of all things, living and dead, has a perfect reason for allowing items to take the course they have received. According to Velarde (2009), one of the most significant challenges Christianity and faith interact with is the reality of evil. Many people today cannot come to terms with why people suffer and what kind of God their creator is to allow so much suffering in the world. So much has happened since the death of Jesus to the extent that many atheists, critics, and skeptics of Christianity have coined an argument that questions the existence of God because of the presence of evil. Many of them believe that since evil exists, then, God must either be weak or non-existent. However, it is upon people with firm faith in Jesus Christ to choose to ignore the skeptics and believers in the propositions of the accurate word of God that assures all Christians that God is real and shall come to correct all the wrongs that have been done.

Redemption and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

One of the most significant markers of Christianity is the belief in the life and death of Jesus Christ, whereas some people have rejected it because it does not fit into their system of ideas or their philosophies. Clerveaux (2009) posits that the reappearance of the Messiah is the only proof and the evidence that Jesus is the only way to heaven. Moreover, the bible book of First Corinthians 15:14 speaks of the validation of Christian life by the death and the renaissance of the Messiah. The coming, suffering, dying as well as the resurrection of Jesus is a sure indication that indeed all the people that die today shall be resurrected and that all things which are old today will be made new in the coming world.

The resurrection of Christ serves as further proof of the truth of the Bible principles that Christians have held dear for a long time throughout history. This indeed serves as the proof that all that was promised in the scriptures will one day materialize no matter how long it will take. According to Alcorn, (2015) although the world today may seem elusive, and the ideals of the human race may seem so far away from the principles of the Holy Scriptures, the truth of the matter still remains that God had an original purpose in creating the earth and that it will one day come to pass.

The presence of an empty tomb at the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the ultimate proof that he returned with the same body as the one in which he had died. Moreover, this fact is emphasized by him when he draws attention to the wounds on his hands. Therefore, without the resurrection of the body of Christ, the promise about a new world with human beings inhabiting the earth and living eternally would not hold. This was the original purpose of God when he created the first man and woman and situated them in the magnificent garden.

Perseverance

With the present system of things sustaining universal suffering and pain, living a Christian life is especially daunting and hence the need for a determination not only for the believers but for the non-believers as well because everyone suffers the same ways. The Bible calls for great Perseverance which simply means continuing in a given course of action even with little or no prospects for success. The word of God is manifest in the sense that all the people who have faith till the end will be saved and this will not be because of their abundance in obedience but in the love and undeserved kindness of God.

Having a Positive Outlook about Life

Considering the Bible accounts like the story of Noah, the wickedness in the present-day world cannot allow God to spare it in his righteousness. The world has grown so vile and evil and has drawn away from all the Bible principles. The love that God has over all humans should be reason enough for anyone to want to live according to his will. As opposed to how atheists, skeptics, and criticism of Christianity would like to accuse God of being weak for allowing so much suffering to occur in the world, they fail to examine the other perspective of the same picture. Being an all-powerful God and being a lover of righteousness, God still has the power to wait for sinful humans to repent and change their ways.

It is indeed challenging to try to maintain a positive mindset in a world such as this that is filled with many economic, social, and cultural constraints. Whatever we think about greatly influences our actions and ultimately shapes our character into the people we become. The more we incline our thinking towards negativity, the less we are likely to think positively. Therefore as a way of practicing exceptional Christian living, it is essential to exercise positive thinking and to align ourselves with the right kinds of company. This is because the people we hung around are likely to have an effect on our attitude towards life, even without our permission. Although evil permeates the world and corrupts the mind, it is possible to focus only on the things that we need and eliminate all the unwanted matter and safeguard our hearts against corruption.

Overall, we are living in challenging times whereby belief in the truth and the light and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is essential mainly because it helps us to live a life of purpose and deep understanding of our calling. Christianity is built upon the foundations of true faith, belief, developing a positive attitude about life, perseverance and redemption, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. My hope is firmly founded on the assumption that the present system of things will one day come to pass and will pave the way to a new order of things according to the perfect will of God. It may not be apparent to all today, but God indeed has an excellent reason for allowing items to take the course they have received and with time all things hidden in the dark shall see the light.
