While it is appropriate to mention that education is critical to any person especially in the current world, it faces challenges of different kinds. Since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, many sectors have been paralyzed with some experiencing changes. Education is among the sectors that have been hit hard by the pandemic. Many changes will then take place in the education sector where some might remain for a long time. Some of the changes in the education sector are positive and others negative.

Background and Overview: 

In the month of December the year 2019, the first case of COVID-19 was reported in China with majority of the people in the world thinking that it was a normal flu. The Chinese government put the necessary measures to curb the virus and what many people did not know was that the virus would result to serious issues. The virus then spread to many parts of the world where in the year 2020, it had been reported in almost all the countries in the world. The disease was spreading steadily considering that it is highly infectious. Deaths were reported in various parts of the world where the numbers were alarming. At this point, many governments drafted containment measures including restriction of movement into and out of the countries to prevent spread of the virus. Additionally, social gatherings were prohibited. Places of worship, learning institutions, restaurants and other social places were locked. The schools suffered significantly as they were closed indefinitely. 

So with the closure of social places, massive transformations were realized differently by the affected people. Education was halted and students made to close for unknown period. School calendars had to change to accommodate the changes in the sector. Many people received the changes differently with some showing mixed reactions. People complained about wasting crucial time in schools after the changes and were not happy about it. This paper will therefore dig deep into the changes that were brought to the education sector by the outbreak of COVID-19. 

In designing practical approaches to a strong and effective argument research essay on this topic, my reasoning for research turn to what I do and do not know. Many people around discuss the issue and agree on certain issues. The approach that the research will take involves discussing with various people in the sector. The study will require planning considering the nature of the topic and questions for the research will be designed in a way to obtain various views from the people. The possible complications of the study might include impacting knowledge to the people who had little knowledge on the changes brought to education by COVID-19

Since most students want to complete their education on the projected time, the technologies provided to assist in online learning are critical to ensure timely completion of courses by students.

In the recent debates, it is evident that some countries have no infrastructure to allow online learning hence some students will be lagging behind.
