Business changes have affected the way companies conduct their activities. The advent of globalization has created diverse avenues and opportunities for enterprises; thus, embracing cultural diversity is a priority for a global organization. The presence of diversity has made the management heighten nurturing of multicultural competency (Ravazzani, 2016). Organizations achieve competency by understanding cultural differences, how people relate, and the features of a certain context. The impact of multicultural competency ensures that individual differences do not affect the performance of a team. It also enhances motivation and morale because of the diversity appreciation. Besides, the awareness also enables the organization to reap high benefits such as high productivity.

The heterogeneous workforce has also made the management promote organizational efficiency by developing relevant techniques such as language training. The strategies help reduce miscommunication that may occur due to interaction with customers, employees, and suppliers of diverse backgrounds (Ravazzani, 2016). When the transfer of information is improper, problems such as delays and poor customer service may arise, thus damaging the company's image. Adopting relevant strategies thus enables the management to strengthen relationships within the firm leading to success.

Diversity has also propelled the management to learn how to solve disagreements and acquire policies and laws such as zero-tolerance policies. Having the policies help employees to feel safe. Cultural differences can increase conflict among people in the organization, especially due to negative prejudice and stereotypes (Ravazzani, 2016). Conducting frequent sensitivity cultural training helps in minimizing ego-clashes problems within the workforce. Training allows employees to appreciate other people's opinions, therefore, creating a sustainable relationship.

In conclusion, encouraging diversity is an appropriate way for an organization. Effective management helps the firm successfully earn a competitive advantage, innovate, increase motivation, get high performance, and create a good corporate image.
