All successful people have traveled a painful journey. Instead of giving up along the way, suffering has motivated them to reach their success. Success is a journey, and it is rooted in the good and bad times. Success is grounded in risk, transformation, and individual growth. The tour shows a person to deal with failure. An individual learns to get up nonetheless and move forward toward his or her dreams. Most people begin their journey with smooth-road principles, thus far success is seldom that kind of adventure. If one wants to be successful, he or she must have the resilience to cope with the inevitable. Therefore, this paper argues for the claim that individual suffering is an effective way for one to improve his or her motivated to reach their goals (Campbell, 2017).

Success does not come on a silver platter, but all painful stories have the potential to have a triumphant ending. One might also accept pain as traveling companion, instead of resisting it and creating further struggle. Indecision and stress are unavoidable, and they both compel an individual to make changes to alleviate their effects, mentoring him or her towards further success. A little pressure can motivate a person to positive directions (Campbell, 2017). Finding who to ask can be the quickest answer, and spending more time investing yourself is the way to go. However, the biggest challenge is for a person to begin finding a way to change his or her perspective on how suffering helps them and does not defeat them. On the other hand, when one is struggling, failure is part of the process.

As a person wonders through his or her drifting spells on their journey, one will encounter intense moments of feeling lost and desperate. It is in these periods one should grip tight to his or her dream and take back their inspiration (Barker, 2014). The fastest means a person can derail his or her dreams is to give up when everything seems bleak. Giving up, when one is on the frontlines of these crucial moments, keeps a person living amongst the average. Those who have made it preserved and grew. However, avoiding suffering also causes us to avoid learning lessons that ultimately make us successful. Thus, the path that hurts the most is the path that we should pursue.

While it is essential to strike a reasonable balance of practicality and prudence, espousing pain as the route to high performance might simplify how we make decisions. In other words, suffering is the precursor to potential. Without pain, all that we have are ideas– false notions and meritless passion. Misery stretches our ability to invest in our success. It is when a person looks deeper into the problems that he or she understands the resolve with which he should execute their mission. Instead of running from pain, maybe people should run to it. Possibly the key to success is not in choosing the right path but in selecting the path most painful. Understanding that the suffering we go through accentuates our urgent anticipation for the pleasure of our success may one day yield.
