A Master’s Degree is one of the highest levels of education offered by top universities in the world. In fact, all learners yearn for at least a Master’s Degree in any field of their studies. Being a disabled veteran, I never knew that one day I would be anywhere near to the coveted degree program. However, I worked hard in my academics and today I can testify the fruits of my efforts. I am a graduate and a degree holder in technical management with a GPA of 3.73. I have also worked in various organizations where my impressing efforts have resulted in 98% customer satisfaction. It is with this regard that I developed an interest in learning all the functions of human resources and make human resource management my future career. I am therefore considering joining one of the most prestigious universities for my Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management. 

My past academic credentials qualify me to enroll for Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management. I did my undergraduate degree program in B.S. in Technical Management at De Vry University and graduated in November 2008 with a GPA of 3.73, Honors/Magna Cum Laude. In addition, I trained in oil and gas sectors in offshore drilling maintenance. As a profession in technical management, I have a substantial work experience. I served BNSF Railway as a conductor trainee from October 2017 to January 2018, a premise technician at AT&T from July 2015 to October 2017, a field service technician at National Oil well Varco from January 2015 to June 2015, and field engineer at Lockheed Martin PTDS from July 2012 to November 2014. Besides, I worked as an instructor at Navistar Defense from January 2011 to June 2012, a logistics coordinator at Kellogg Brown & Root from February 2009 to May 2010, and service technician at Old Dominion Freight Lines from August 2000 to February 2009. Throughout all the organizations I have worked for, I served diligently and obtained recommendation letters from each organization; proving to my colleagues that disability is not inability.

I am now ripe to further my education and I endeavor to pursue a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management. As I wait to join the University for my Postgraduate Education, I am full of expectations. First, I am certain to work diligently and obtain excellent grades as I have always done in the past. Secondly, I strive to work with my colleagues who share in my mindset and make innovations in honor of the university. I will cooperate with all university stakeholders regardless of their ethical backgrounds towards upholding the university standards and values of honesty, truth, and success. I believe the university will enable me to continue nurturing my love for humanity and further enlighten my way of thinking about the nature of human resources. Therefore, it is my general view that the university will make me a better person towards my completion of my Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
