The problem encountered is one related to balancing between a fulltime job and fulltime college. College has served as a fulltime undertaking together with the area of work. Challenges have prevailed in balancing work and school and having sufficient time to rest. The major area of emphasis in this case has been to consider whether to prioritize college or work, particularly because the two usually have deadlines for accomplishing tasks. When it comes to work, certain schedules prevail each week, hence a need for knowing when to be there. In the case of school, the number of assignments varies on a weekly basis thus the need for determining how to approach them to eradicate stresses that can result later (Vista College, 2018) . In my case, I have faced challenges in balancing between working fulltime and attending college fulltime. I have missed deadlines for college assignments and failed to perform certain work duties well because of the pressures imposed by the two. Hence, I have realized that working fulltime and being in college fulltime requires devising approaches for addressing the issue, which would contribute to solving both professional and academic challenges.
To deal with college pressures, the major thing I have noted is worth considering is to understand when every assignment is due and focus on ensuring that it possible to complete it on time. Prioritizing entails refraining from procrastinating on every assignment until the day it is due. This means working on the important assignments first to reduce the levels of stress. Prioritizing work makes it possible to remain on top of grades as well as frees some time for having fun or sufficient sleep. Additionally, keeping work affairs at work also serves as another way of realizing a balance between college and school. It is not advisable to take job home. Working efficiently and effectively while at work would make it possible to concentrate on schoolwork during free time while at home. Saying ‘no’ to additional tasks in the workplace is important when having school matters to address. Most employers know the challenges that come with being a fulltime employee and fulltime college student (Lawrence, 2015) . Here, understanding the manner in which the two settings (work and school) operate make it possible to devise schedules that meet both their requirements.

By prioritizing work and school, I have realized that it becomes possible to have some free time. While the free time might not be a lot, the one available can make it possible to socialize with friends or have fun activities. However, it is vital to utilize the free time wisely. Making all these happen does not require killing the work schedule. Sufficient sleep plays an essential role in contributing to efficient and effective work in both the work setting and at school. Sustaining a consistent sleep schedule of between six and eight hours daily is essential in terms of increasing productivity (Meindl, 2015) . Such an approach assists in “resetting” the body to prepare it for additional the following day or week.
Overall, prioritizing work and school based on their distinct requirements have worked perfectly in my case. It has become possible to work and be at school without any regrets. The work I have devoted at school and work have strengthened my life while at the same time allowing me to have time for friends and family. Here, by maintaining a good balance between school, work, and life, I have remained happy, productive, and healthy. Therefore, I can argue that my attempted solution of prioritizing school and work based on their varying requirements has worked well in solving my professional and academic challenges, which I faced without the solution.
