Moses is in his last of Bachelor’s Degree course in Finance. He is an athlete at school, and he is pretty good at it. He, however, takes it as a hobby. Moses joined the campus on full government sponsorship after doing tremendously well in his secondary studies. He is rather a quiet person, reserved, but he likes staying in the company of his friends. His friends like him because he takes life positively yet in a different worldview. In his first, second, and third year, he did tremendously well in class. However, in the third year, his uncle introduced him to a money-making venture, and he converted it to corporate business. His business has been growing over the last six months, and this has taken lots of his time. In the first semester, he devoted a significant amount of time meant for studies to his business. Moses has explicitly had challenges with his Managerial Accounting unit. The lecturer says he delays with the assignments, which forces him to penalize Moses.
Moses also failed in the managerial accounting unit, and he is required to repeat. Moses thinks he has a passion for the course because it is a business course and adds value to him. His friends once advised him to defer the course to another semester to focus on the business, but he refused, justifying that he is a multitasker and can handle both at the same time.In the next coming semester, Moses is faced with a dilemma, he has to complete a compulsory project as part of his project. He finds it very hard balancing his time between classwork, business, and project. He thinks that by briefly putting aside his business and concentrate on his classwork and project, then resume later would solve the problem. However, he finds it so hard because he puts so much trust in his business. But one thing has to let go, and time is running out.
