Mitchum Medical Supply to Sponsor Charity 5K Race
Mitchum has come up with the idea of supporting ALS Research
Mitchum Medical Supplies will sponsor Charity 5K Race on May 12 th . The event is a fundraiser for ASL Research.
“ We have sponsored similar events in the past in support of the local community while raising money for ASL Research.” The marketing manager said.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
The race will begin at the Liberty Park loop through the city and end at the Liberty Park.
Participants can pay $20 in advance or $30 on the day of the race. Anyone who registers in advance receives a free race T-shirt.
“ Mitchum Medical Supply is delighted to support ASL research in this way and will continue doing so in future," said the marketing manager. “Our goal is to continue supporting the noble cause to assist patients with nerve cells issues.”

The organization was founded in 1909 by Charles Mitchum. The company is family owned and managed business. Its operations include the supply of medical supplies like hospital beds, gauzes, and sutures to hospitals, clinics, and medical practices.
Mitchum Medical Supply is well known for its corporate social responsibility. The company supports the local community while at the same time raising funds for charity work. Mitchum has been sponsoring 5K walk/Run since 2005 with the intention of ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease Research. The company has helped raise $70,000 to date used to support ALS research.
ASL is a serious condition affecting 20,000 American citizens at any one given time. The condition is neurodegenerative and affects the nerve cells in the brain as well as the spinal cord. The condition affects people aged from 40-70 leading to challenges in movement, speech, eating, and breathing.
