Challenge 1: Motor skill challenges. These are represented by the inability of such a student to have mastery of handwriting.

Solving the problem of motor skill challenge would best be achieved through subjecting the student to constant practice and guide ( Broomfield & Dodd 2004 ). 

How does this align to DAP and the needs of this individual? 

The understanding of the challenge suffered by this student is key in helping them in class, applying development theories as well as his strengths.

Putting up a classroom management plan would so much depend on this. This is because the teacher is aware of the time he must dedicate to helping the special needs student at personal level. 

Challenge 2: The challenge of breakdown of the tablet and any other speech aid that must be available for use. 

What are the steps (plans) you will need to take to support this child’s learning and development daily due to their disability? 

For this particular challenge, there should be a backup plan to acquire another tablet for the student.

The available solution is very much in conformation to DAB because a teacher gets to understand his student better. Moreover, having a ready solution for the challenge is good because it caters for the student’s need.

Setting up a management plan must thus consider having another tablet or speech aid for the student in case of technical failures. 

Student B: Two-year-old with a physical disability and cannot walk without supports 

Challenge 1: Ambulatory challenges. This is the difficulty in moving from one place to another including within the classroom.

The teacher should assign peers to guide the disable student to fasten his movement and learning in class. 

How does this align to DAP and the needs of this individual? 

Understanding the needs of the student and finding solution is a key part of DAP. Moreover, the steps seek to meet the individual needs of the student. 

How does this align with the management plan for the rest of the children in that age group or classroom? 

A teacher shall consider the needs of the student in making the classroom management plan. 

Challenge 2: Possible rejection and bullying from other children. At 2 years, children may not understand the needs of others, hence the possibility of bullying and mistreatment of the student with disability 

What are the steps (plans) you will need to take to support this child’s learning and development daily due to their disability? 

The teacher will protect the student from fellow students who might attempt to bully or discriminate him. 

How does this align to DAP and the needs of this individual? 

By protecting the student against peer bullies, his individual needs are catered for. Additionally, this keenly conforms to DAP because DAP is keen on solving needs of every student in a class.

A teacher must consider the guidance on students on how to treat their fellow in preparing the classroom management plan.
