Interview

The job analyst will conduct interviews with incumbents to gather information about work and the current relation with their post. Both structured and unstructured interviews will be used due to the corporate culture. Structured interviews will follow a precise strategy that demands both the analyst and the employees to follow a preset format. All employees will be subjected to similar questions built in a similar order. The responses should be recorded, evaluated and compared against some standard criteria. The interview is set to retain its original format even if the interviewer is replaced.

Unlike structured interviews, unstructured interviews unravel without a pre-created format. The practice will be carried out as an ordinary conversation. In this case, the analyst will use random questions that are not predefined. Interviewers will use different questions. In a case similar questions are used, the order of the questions will differ from the other. The criterion for recording, evaluating and comparing the answers is independent. The interviewer is also allowed to process different questions depending on his or her experience in the field.

Questionnaires

The job analysis method requires all participants including supervisors, employees, and managers to fill out form-like questionnaires. To maintain the highest level of validity and reliability, the analyst will use multiple choice, open-ended question, and checklist. The information required at this level is the internal and external factors that influence the completion of a job. The technique is meant to evaluate skills, experience, knowledge, qualifications, emotional and physical inputs, work conditions, compensation and salary among other qualities.

Observation

Observation will be restricted wholly to the job analyst. The main aim of the technique is to observe the employee’s daily routine. The method will consider the first-hand knowledge of the current employees. The process will be used to describe whether the previous data was comprised. In this case, the analyst will be able to collect them directly. The data collection is not gathered in an orchestrated environment hence making them more accurate. The data obtained using this method helps the analyst to learn the strengths and flaws of the employees.

Claims supervisor in an insurance company is responsible for managing all claims adjuster and ensuring that their performances on their duties are satisfying. The claims supervisors are mainly related to claims and payment decision. In case of a compensation case, the supervisors make an in-depth evaluation of the payment’s justification. During instances where the payment is legal, the supervisors process the allegations and deliver the payments to the victim. The job also requires the supervisors to meet up with legal counsel where the issue requires litigation. Simply, the supervisors are related to negotiations and interviews with all people involved in a case.

The general mission and goal of the company are to deliver quality services with zero inaccuracy rates. The company ensures that all customers’ needs are attended to with the highest level of intellect. The best strategy to earn the company good reputation and competitive advantage is by imposing an accurate investigation to its customers.

The primary goals rotate at making a clear judgment on all cases related to the insurance agency. In this case, the company relies solely on the employee to make a good reputation. In most cases, the company will have to make a sound judgment on the knowledge and experience of the candidate. The efficiency will determine the overall performance and rating of the company.

The company also aims at making good profits throughout the year. The benefits can be received by ensuring that funds are not lost recklessly to unjustified cases (Chamberlin, Newton & LePine, 2018). The best option to the company would be making clear and open investigations on the cases. In cases where the situation requires litigation, the supervisor should meet the counsel responsibility and make clear clarifications. Therefore, the job is one of the central pillars that supports the company on all ends.

In this case, the goals of the company rely on the official in the department. Moreover, the long term goals of hitting the highest net worth and customers globally are related to the effort and efficiency of the claims supervisor. Therefore, it is evident that the job post has the most significant impact on the goals and missions of the company. In case the position is comprised, it is possible that the goals and mission of the company will fade away within a short period.

The existence of several opinions and ideas in the company will foster the growth of the company strategy wise. We major in evoking new ideas to maintain our competitive advantage. In this case, handling issues in the organization becomes more comfortable compared to the previous days. Proper management of these qualities will deliver better results by heightening productivity. Moreover, the qualities are capable of extending the goals of the company.
