It is apparent that writing can be used to deepen understanding and work through complex ideas. In some cases, research is undertaken on a particular subject and an essay written regarding individuals` understanding of various ideas. Writing is fundamental owing to its ability to assist people come up with good social skills. Learning how to write different formats for a specific paper, for instance, enables me to gain a deeper comprehension of the subject which is being studied.
There are various ways I have managed to utilize writing as a means of learning. For instance, while at school I have used this as a basis for my education where I write various opinions derived on a subject and undertake an investigation to assert their validity. Writing has, thus, served as an effective part of enhancing my level of knowledge. Writing has also made my work easier since I can express my opinions in class better compared to doing it orally. Besides, I have constantly used this as one of the methods to assist me cope with stressful situations. For example, there are scenarios where I have been involved in altercations with some of my friends and writing to them has often acted as the best means of apologizing and reigniting damaged relations.

Most of the things learnt during writing my assignments are effective since I can use this once I leave school. For instance, writing activities which are undertaken end up enhancing critical thinking. When presented with a topic in class, I am at times forced to gain a deeper understanding of what is required. Afterwards, I write based on my interpretation of the subject under contention. Most jobs in the contemporary world also require people who are deeply involved in writing since it is an element which is capable of enhancing their understanding (Zumbrunn, 2016). Knowing how to think and write is a basis for a majority of the jobs.
