There are experiences in life, which communicate to one that they have reached adulthood. Some behaviors are appropriate for certain ages but not others. When I completed high school, I had the habit of using my phone to chat with friends. Most of my day would be spent doing this apart from running other house errands. When I joined college, this behavior slowly faded away, I started thinking of ways of making some cash while studying. This obviously was prompted by the fact that maintaining college life is quite expensive. I could now use my phone only for important communications when need arose. This clearly indicated to me that indeed I was transiting to adulthood.
As an adult, I have encountered several challenges. These include being judged by people because of what I do. I feel that I am in position to decide what to do and embark on it without seeking for approval from anyone. This is not the case however because the people around me will always have to criticize any move that they think is not appropriate. Some of the factors I consider in dealing with my challenges is looking at my experiences where I consulted someone for advice but the solution she gave me never worked for my situation. This clearly showed me that if I consult someone, he or she would give a solution that would work for him or her and not me. Therefore, the first thing to consider before making any decision is what I want for myself.

My motivating factor is the future that I want for my family and myself. I work smart and hard to achieve the best I can. When I find something viable to do, then I give it my best. The vision of the future that I want is clear in my mind and always propels me to put extra effort daily. This has enabled me to make decisions such as those of financial management as well as the company I keep.
