Part One, Question 1

My answer is b; I do believe that disagreements or arguments are helpful and positive for a relationship. When the disagreements are handled properly, the relationship can be improved. Couples who never talk about their problems will never establish an appropriate solution. Question 3

My answer is b; I do get right to the point when discussing a concern in the relationship. I believe that communication is the key to a substantive relationship. Successful conveyance of ideas and feeling s during discussion helps in creating a healthy relationship. Putting clear, the concerns are necessary rather than beating around the bush.

Question 4

My answer is b; I do tell my partner what I like about him and my relationship. I believe that sharing with my partner those heartfelt truths will not only make my partner feel amazing but also it will take the relationship to the next level. Continuously reminding my partner on how I like the support that he is giving me, is likely to create a vote of confidence from time to time.

Question 5

My answer is b; I do stay around until there is a resolution of the conflict. It is important to stay around with your partner until an amicable solution is established, this is because withdrawing or distancing yourself in order to avoid conflict is not a permanent solution. Withdrawing only erodes the relationship foundation, because your partner will not feel safe anymore.

Question 6

My answer is b; I do state clearly what I want and don’t want. This creates an open and honest communication. When both partners know what they want from the relationship and feel comfortable expressing their needs, fears, and desires, it can increase trust and strengthen the bond between them.

Question 7

My answer is b; I do wait until my partner has finished stating his thoughts and ideas. Waiting for a natural break during conversation is important. This makes sure that the interaction remains a conversation that is positive for everybody and doesn’t devolve into one person interrupting and the other person feeling as though they are not really being heard.

Question 8

My answer is b; I do acknowledge and accept my partner in my relationship problems. Accepting my problems help me to know on areas to improve on. I believe that being on the receiving end of the blame can be exhausting and exasperating. Blaming only brakes down your sense of trust in your partner, and replace it with a growing sense of resentment and anger.

Question 9

My answer is b; my parents were good communicators. My parents were the best teachers and a good role model that I had. They were actively involved with my education, rather than allowing the teachers to handle it all. I therefore, learned to communicate by watching and listening to my parent, and then mimicking their words and actions.

Part two

I agree with the analysis because;

1. Every intimacy relationship does experience conflicts. Agreement between couples creates a healthy conflict, which play s a vital role in creating marriage relationships. Couples should prioritize issues to work on because that helps to create a mutual relationship.

2. Mind reading is detrimental to a relationship. In intimate relationships, there exists a fallacy and erroneous expectation that mind-reading is not only a supposition, but that a partner who fails to adeptly interpret and to take appropriate action is unloving. Clear communication is important.

3. Getting right to the point when conversing with your partner is helpful in that, one can openly state his or her mind, and this reduces the number of conflicts that are likely to arise.

4. Learning your partner’s boundaries is important. If your partner like s to be left alone when he or she is upset, you should do so. Your partner’s sense of privacy is most likely different from your s , and knowing his or her boundaries is the best way to respect them.

5. It takes two people to have a relationship and each person has different communication needs and styles, communication will never be perfect all the time. Be clear when communicating with your partner. So that your message can be received and understood. Double-check your understanding of what your partner is saying.

6. When having a conversation with your partner, point out facts , and don’t let you, partner, to guess how you are feeling. Always get to the bottom of the issues. You should also listen to your partner because, being heard conveys that his or her thoughts and feelings matter, and paves the way for a deep sense of trust.

7. Listening is key to all effective communication. Without the ability to listen effectively, messages are easily misunderstood. As a result, communication break s down and the sender of the message can easily become frustrated or irritated.

8. One of the problems with couples pointing fingers is that usually both parties are right, and both are wrong. Every person is full of flaws and every partner should learn how to own his or her mistakes.

9. Parents play an important role in how children communicate. Parents with good communication establish a good foundation for their children, which is later reflected when they start relationships.
