The article lacks analytical skills especially when it comes to the interpretation of the Second Amendment where the author simply provides the constitutional quote. Secondly, good critical thinking skills require the author to begin by giving the premises followed by an argument and a conclusion. However, the author has instead focused on assessing historical court cases and interpretations to prove their main thesis. The author inter-mixes opinions and facts thereby making it difficult for the reader to understand the direction taken in the argument. Also, there are signs of fallacies in his argument.
