Historical Understanding of Robots in the Workplace 

My historical understanding of how the robots were incorporated in the workplace was to offer assistance to humans. Considering that the first robots were used as industrial robots and required little human help, I believed that they provided support to humans on the complex tasks in manufacturing and production. The development of robots focused on creating artificial servants and human companions to assist humans in various processes. Ethical Questions Regarding Robots in Workplaces 

In recent year, the use of robots in the workplaces has increased significantly, leading to the development of ethical questions. The first moral issue involves the issue of unemployment, considering that the robots continue to replace human. In this case, the honest question raised is on what happens after the humans are replaced by the robot in the workplace. Other ethical concerns involve inequality and humanity, which are a crucial aspect of the workplace. My understanding of the issue is based on research and interactions with individuals in the workplace who raise concerns on the issue of the use of robots in the workplace. Social Implications Regarding Robots in Workplaces

The replacement of humans by the robots create a situation where humans become uncertain about the future considering the loss of employment, which is an issue that affects the social life of humans in the society, thereby increasing anxiety and insecurity. The positive social impact of robots in the workplace entails increased safety, considering that humans do not engage in dangerous activities.

Social Responsibility as a Technology Professional Regarding Robots in Workplaces 

A technological professional it is essential to understand the impact of robots in the workplace. Considering the technological advancements in the world, it is essential to focus on the implementation of technology in the workplace to better operations within the workplace. It is my responsibility to ensure that individuals understand the positive impact of the use of robots in the workplace. It is my responsibility to ensure that the robots do not result in creating a negative social impact on the employees in the workplace.

Main Lesson About Robots and Work 

The main lesson I learnt about robots and work is the fact that robots have a significant impact on enhancing operations within the workplace. Considering that the robots are programmable machines, it is possible to improve operations such as production and manufacturing. I have learned that incorporating robots in the workplace may create employment insecurity considering that the robots replace humans, thus the need for measures to ensure that robots entirely replace humans.
