Changes to my demeanor will be to enhance my interpersonal and communication skills as a professional who has attained the highest level of education in the society. I am a mature person of sound mind, and I am emotionally and mentally stable, without any behavioral disorders or challenges that can interfere with my academic persuasion. I had excellent grades in my undergraduate and master studies, which are attributed to my exemplary organizational skills and the ability to set goals and achieve them. Besides, I am a hardworking person and I always endeavor to achieve my goals attributes that guarantee my entry into the program.
5. Expectations I have of my classmates and faculty members in the program, and their expectation of me
I expect professional and respectful interactions with my new classmates. I believe they are good-mannered, understanding, and polite individuals who exercise etiquette in their social and professional interactions. In addition, I hope that they are equally or even more knowledgeable and experienced in this field of study to facilitate mutual support during the research. I am determined to share my expertise and professional experience for mutual benefits. I will be a cooperative member of the class and make some significant contribution to the class as well as the entire faculty. In addition, I will not hesitate to share my excellent research tools and skills that have acquired while conducting research in my previous job.
6. Changes I need to make to move from passive thinking to active- and engaged inquiry
Some of the changes that I intend to make to attain active and engaged learning entail overcoming the belief that there can only be one right answer or solution to every problem. I will strive to expose myself to tasks that are more complex, formulate ways of approaching issues from different perspectives, and still develop a reasonable answer to a question. Besides, I purpose to be brave enough to abandon the tried and true learning strategies, and embrace a new risky and more challenging approach to acquiring knowledge.
