Technology has presently been intertwined with the daily activities of human beings. As a result, incorporating technology in the education system is vital in ensuring that learners are exposed to the evolving world. Through technology, many inventions and innovations are taking place. It is wise to let learners experience technology in a classroom setting. Learners need the ability to be competitive in a highly industrialized world. The complexity of incorporating technology in a classroom setting calls for proper strategies to achieve positive results. The rise in the need for learners to be literate in technology has resulted in its utilization in the classroom setting. The extent to which technology should be used is to achieve beneficial abilities and opportunities for learners in the future. 

Technology should be utilized to instill specific skills that promote innovation and cognitive competence. According to the National Education Technology Plan, technology allows learners to practice critical thinking, collaboration, and complex problem-solving. This enables them to acquire important skills that make them relevant in the competitive world ( Markel, S 2001, 4) . Other skills that learners acquire from the use of technology in the classroom include typing skills, research skills, and personalized learning skills. An eighth-grader in Texas confessed to the use of School kit to motivate her to achieve her first academic distinction after five years ( Thomas, S 2016,1) . Schoolkit is a site that teaches learners mindset growth. Through using technology, she learned that even though she did not grasp ideas quickly in class, she knew that putting more effort at her work would get her good results. Therefore, technology is essential in the growth of non-cognitive competence, which includes the ability to form meaningful relationships and solve daily problems. The use of technology to the extent that learners’ abilities are improved is encouraging and calls for technology to be fully incorporated in classroom learning.

Additionally, technology should be utilized in the classroom to introduce project-based lessons that aim to help learners deal with challenges in the real world. According to the National park Service, classroom projects help learners refine their leadership skills ( Ruto, L 2019 pg1) . They advocate for a significantsignificant project where learners make videos explaining their experience to any visits to historical sites. The learners are given roles as directors, writers, actors, costume designers, music directors, and editors. By utilizing technology to play this role, learners can explore their ability to engage in teamwork. 

Moreover, they learn from each other and practice control as leaders and efficiency in their assigned roles. This gives learners a chance to experience the real world where responsibilities are vital and relationships matter in all dynamics ( Ghavifekr .S,2015, 175) . Technology is a great way to enable learners in a classroom to have experiences that are essential to their success in life. 

Technology can be incorporated in classrooms to help learners identify and pursue personal interests and passions. The ability of learners to learn through technology makes them develop an interest in exploration and research. A great supporter of technology in education for this purpose is the Hive learning network ( Sabzian, F 2013, 172) . The hive participants advocate for technology use in the classroom to promote innovations as learners interact with businesses they desire, organizations they would love to explore, and learners from different parts of the world. This interaction brings diversification and allows learners to be open-minded. As a result, learners acquire knowledge beyond the confinement of their classes and skills in relation to their professional development. This is a strategy that enables learners to move beyond their classroom settings. The use of technology to network with other people with the same interest brings together potential experts in a particular field. Failure to incorporate technology into a class does not give a learner the chance to explore more in their passions. Learners have great imaginations and passions; integrating technology in the classroom gives them an opportunity to venture into them. 

The use of technology in the classroom can be a great way to reduce the digital use divide. This is the difference between people who use technology for entertainment or consume media passively to those who use technology to build, explore, design, and collaborate ( Yunus, M 2013, 4) . In education, learners can be categorized as passive technology users if only teachers are technology proprietors. However, through classroom engagement with technology, learners should be taught how to use it as a productivity tool. They should engage in creative ways to promote a lifelong benefit other than a waste of time and resources in issues that do not benefit them. Through such education, learners will have the ability to exercise self-control and guide themselves even outside the classroom to utilize technology. 

To ensure that learners have an excellent education basis and a successful future, incorporating technology in the classroom is very important. The world today is dynamic, with so many innovations and inventions taking place. Technology will soon be an effective method of teaching globally, and learners will adapt to its utilization. In the meantime, it is important to instill beneficial skills in learners so that they are able to design their future while still young and explorative. The teachers should ensure proper supervision so that learners can achieve the positive desired outcome from technology. Learners should be conversant with technology from a young age so that they can acquire self-control skills to utilize technology to benefit them. The present learners are our future experts. It is the role of the education sector to ensure they are skilled in achieving their dreams.
