Blogging is essential for any business in this age as it aids in getting in touch with clients through the internet whose use has proliferated over the years. Blogging increases the visibility of a corporate by expanding its search traffic. (DeMers, 2015) As more posts are put up, the search engine indexes the blog posts hence they appear in searches related to the displayed content. This increases the number of internet views and drives potential clients to the company’s website. This, in turn, leads to improves customer base and the company’s overall profitability.

Employees should be fired for indecorous comments posted on blogs. They should be able to think rationally before displaying negative information on their public blogs. Material that presents the company in a bad light is likely to jeopardize its operations. Although employees may use the First Amendment’s freedom of speech rights, this only protects them from suppression by the government, not their employers. (Lucas, 2011) To avoid being fired, employees need to learn to shun comments aimed directly at their employers, coworkers or bigoted texts. This will encourage better use of the blogs and adequate problem-solving habits.
