Nearly every topic has been a focus of research studies. A literature review is an examination of past studies conducted on a topic. Based on what I have gleaned about a literature review, I am confident that the manager requires me to provide her with a comprehensive summary of previous research conducted to provide a proper understanding of the concept of teleworking. In this context, the manager requires me to survey books, scholarly articles, and other relevant sources that have been published to provide an in-depth understanding of the critical aspects of teleworking. Some of these aspects include the advantages and limitations of teleworking. A literature review on teleworking will not act as a proposal that supports a new teleworking arrangement in the company. Instead, a literature review will provide the manager with a succinct understanding of the concept of teleworking that can, therefore, be used by the manager to make informed decisions concerning the application and use of teleworking as a new strategy to motivate workers. A reviewing of literature on the concept of teleworking does not act as a persuasive paper that takes a stand against teleworking but rather enables the manager to understand the best approaches towards the possible adoption and implementation of telecommuting as a new way of motivating employees and creative, appropriate flexibility of the workers. Besides, the literature review on the concept of teleworking is a crucial step that will help the company to avoid unnecessary misfortunes and setbacks that may affect the company in the event of a poor implementation strategy of teleworking in the company. In conclusion, a literature review on teleworking will provide the manager with the necessary information about teleworking in respect to the opinions, concepts, and ideas of professionals in the field of organizational leadership and management. This information can, therefore, be used to aid appropriate and informed decision-making towards employee motivation and organizational growth and development.
