The prominence of a business is measured by how far the people and management continue to develop. Without the aspects of human development support, it is definite that a business might fail despite of the quality of the product in question and the market share. Therefore, whether a company uses robots to replace human resources, the need to advance its human factor is essential. As such, the success of a company can best be attributed to social development. Hence, there is a constant need to replace social factors as per the challenges and shifts in the market. Therefore, failure to understand the pillars of social development and how to manage them is ultimately fatal. This has stretched to the extent that most businesses are currently eliminating the idea of 'human resource' and replacing it with a more robust view of 'human development.' Human development has, therefore benefited the business through constant training to staff.
Human development in the business setting can be seen in various situations. Career development for example entails all the measures and activities geared towards growth and improvement a person’s career. It can also include tuition assistance where an organization decides to pay for the tuition fees of the employee. Some organizations also have mentorship programs. In this case, a person who is experienced in certain skills and knowledge offers assistance to the employee. The same is seen in coaching where a coach imparts professional or personal skills to the employees. In addition, succession planning is also one aspect of human development. The process entails the identification and development of new leaders to take over from the older ones after their exit (Market Business News, 2020) .

Human development has contributed to aspects of employee satisfaction and morale. When a company invests significantly in training its staff, creates a sense of belonging among the employees. Employees are tender humans who need an arm around them than a sword, and the best way to get this through them is by ensuring that they are part of the company objectives fundamentally. By this technique, they get directly involved in the daily activities of the company (Adam and Pietrzak 23-34). Such activities form a base that is described as supportive of the workers. For instance, in my personal experience, I witnessed colleagues perform tremendously well as a result of the training we received. Something that we could not have achieved had it not been the company stepping in a sponsoring such a program. We felt understood and valued hence more challenged through such opportunities.
Job satisfaction is usually the ultimate goal of any employee in an organization. Therefore, any organization that takes care of its employees’ professional growth is more likely to have a satisfied workforce. As a result, this leads to increased productivity and a low turnover rate. According to a 2014 survey conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management, 42% of the respondents affirmed that an organization’s commitment to their professional growth was critical to their level of job satisfaction. An organization that conducts internal trainings gives encouragement to the workers. In this case, the workers perceive such an employer as a caring one. Moreover, an employee who is confident that he is likely to have professional growth in an organization is less likely to look for another job opportunity. The reduction in employee turnover creates continuity in a business and saves the costs of training new workers (Jeanetta, 2019) .
Human development contributed significantly to addressing weaknesses in a person. For instance, an employee may have a deficiency in his/her workplace that she might not be aware of. However, a training program can contribute to enabling the employee to realize this weakness. Such a program brings all staff members to the same level where they can acquire similar skill in performing their duties ( Cécile, and Cécile 14-16) . I recall back at our company after the annual training, and I was able to identify my weak links hence learnt to rely on others to perform my duties ( Cécile, and Cécile 12-19) . Therefore, adequate training provides employees with a piece of general knowledge, thus necessitating that one can take over another's work and still maintain the same results. Most employees require such services to improve their quality. By doing so, the employees get a chance to commit themselves to the company because they develop a sentimental attachment to the company.
Human development in an organization has a direct correlation to client satisfaction. Employees who are certain of opportunities while working in an organization are more likely to be satisfied. These employees are the face of the organization. Therefore, when clients interact with a satisfied workforce, they are likely to have a pleasant experience. This in turn increases customers’ satisfaction. A satisfied client is likely to come back and give referrals of a positive experience in the organization. This improves an organization’s profitability (Jeanetta, 2019) . I recently went to a restaurant for dinner. It is a relatively busy restaurant and so I was very certain that the food would be fresh to avoid incidences of food poisoning. While there, I made an interesting observation. All the waiters were sited at a certain point. They were like four of them serving a population of over 30 clients. They all looked gloomy. It took about 10 minutes before any of the waiter would come to serve me. I could notice that the same situation was replicated with the other clients. Some of the clients did not have the patient to wait longer. They just decided to leave the restaurant and looked for another place. This simple experience enlightened me on how a business can go down as a result of a demotivated workforce. Like other clients, I made a resolve not to visit the restaurant again. The experience with the waiters was not pleasant. Moreover, I cannot recommend the restaurant to any of my friend. A large scale perception of clients in such a case can lead to reduced client flow and subsequent closure of a business. The owner of the business in this case needs to find ways of empowering the workers.
Communication is important in the running of any business organization. An organization that is concerned with personal and professional growth of its employees tend to have a good communication channel. This is both in terms of horizontal and vertical communication. Employees in this case are nor fearful of their seniors as they know the seniors have their best interest at heart. In addition, an organization serious with human development is able to identify staff with deficiencies in communication skills and therefore take measures to train them on the same. This has the ultimate advantage of promoting a positive organizational culture. Some organizations where human development is not a priority tend to have employees who are stuck to themselves and would not offer their perspectives on issues. This way, the business loses significantly because it is not able to act based on the correct information on the ground (Jeanetta, 2019) .
In conclusion, it is evident that the concept of human development has been limited to economics and business. However, I recommend the need to factor in thoughts in philosophical development as freedom and human capabilities into workplaces. Employees need to feel a part of the organizations they work in because it is truly the only way they can succeed in business. Additionally, it would imperatively add value for an organization to come through and truly understand their place in the business world. For such a case, it is more about ensuring businesses continue to thrive like they should be and equally maintaining high standards and value in terms of business relations as a whole. The most sensible deed is for the business to continue empowering the employee to match the best standards.
