Thesis

The relationship between human resources and information technology is not balanced. Information technology has led to the decline in the number of human resources as the duties that required many employees previously are now consolidated within software applications and minute devices.

Purpose

The labor community is being transformed with the introduction of new technology and the advancement of older technologies. There is a clear distinction between human resource and information technology. The former deals with human personnel employed to perform a particular duty or collection of tasks while the latter deals with technology that can be harnessed to improve the quality and efficiency of work. The two are therefore related. However, this paper will seek to determine the balance between the two factors: to show whether the relationship is perfectly balanced or whether one factor leads to the growth or fall of the other.
