Define the concept of human rights as it fits with your personal philosophy of global education?

Human rights are moral rights; they are accustomed to the way people conduct themselves or behave in civil society. They imperatively represent a set of specific highly-regarded norms of behavior without which the society could not be manageable. Human Rights transcend national interests, and perhaps regulate the contemporary political world by justifying the need for international intervention in frequent human rights abuse. Regarding my global Educationeducation philosophy, human rights are fundamentally concerned with sustaining the "whole person" -heart, spirit, and other body parts. Global education addresses human rights by focusing on each individual's rights and responsibilities within the great world system.

Global Education aims to emphasize values, participation, empowerment, democratization, and social action ( Fuss, 2009 ). Consequently, human rights explicate the importance of global education to every individual, and the relevant applications. Accessing proper education also helps one identify his rights and responsibilities, which increases the chances of responsiveness amongst people. For example, a person who concisely understands his rights can not be molested by authorities innocently.

Describe the most important human rights challenge that affects global education and justify your position.

The most fundamental human right challenge affecting Global Education is poverty and global inequalities. Poverty-stricken individuals hardly access education, which is a basic need and a right to every human being. Most areas grappling with poverty challenges have a hard time accessing quality education; consequently, this has resulted in the emergence of a challenge to the global education agenda ( Fuss, 2009 ). Lack of enough Education leads to high illiteracy rates; consequently, inequalities continue thriving, and more people lack basic knowledge on the importance and applicability of global education. Global imbalances have posed a significant challenge on global education; this has affected traverse populations who are limited from accessing education due to their social class and community status. Imbalances affect the rate at which knowledge diffuses into the society and also the choice of people to receive the change. As a result, more people end-up remaining illiterate hence a huge challenge for global education.
