The inclusion type of education refers to the teaching model, whereby learners with disabilities are taught together with regular students. The inclusive education type for learners is massively built under the belief that it offers a better learning experience. The word "inclusion" in education refers to the societal ideology of embracing people with disabilities in the education sector (NBACL, 2020). According to UNICEF (2020), disability is the biggest barrier to education, with more than 50% of children with disabilities not attending schools. Inclusion education counters special education whereby learners with disabilities are taught separately from the other group. The method presents equality for all learners, whereby individual teachers assist the students with disabilities in grasping concepts taught to the other learners. Inclusion education offers more benefits to the learners and the community as compared to special education. Connectedly, this paper supports inclusive education because it builds equality, integration, acceptance, among other benefits.

Inclusive education provides learners with special needs with an opportunity to attend regular schools. Civil rights state that all people are entitled to equal education. Segregation education limits equality in the education offered to these learners (University of Minnesota, 2018). The US and other democratic societies give all people equal rights and opportunities; hence, special schools cause marginalization and segregation of the students with disabilities.

The US K-12 education system's primary goal is to achieve integration of all persons with disabilities (University of Minnesota, 2018). Inclusive education thus helps students with special needs gain an equal chance and opportunity to compete with the other students in the employment sector (University of Minnesota, 2018). Segregation of students limits integration and the formation of heterogeneous communities in the US. Currently, there are various misconceptions about people with special needs. These misconceptions are directly attributed to the education system of segregating the special needs kids from the others. Through inclusive education, society's perception of disabilities will completely change, because of the good interactions between students in inclusive classes, thus forming inclusive communities (University of Minnesota, 2018). Societies that understand disabled people's rights will arise, whereby the shared values, skills, and attitudes will play a key role in establishing societies.

Inclusive education gives kids with disabilities acceptance and a sense of belonging to society (NBACL, 2020). With the implementation of inclusive education, these kids can have a sense of belonging to society. In the special school setups, the kids are segregated from society; hence, they may feel separate from it (NBACL, 2020). Inclusive education enables equal interactions between kids. Inclusive education also enables those with disabilities to make friends with people from their communities, thus establishing useful links with their communities.

Inclusive education plays a vital role in encouraging the involvement of parents in the education of their children. Parents' participation implies that these kids will have better experiences while at home (Villa & Thousand, 2003). The parents of the children are involved in their development; hence they understand how to deal with them even when they are at home. Parents may find the kids with special needs challenging to understand.

Inclusive education provides a variety of learning opportunities and methods for children. Teachers have different abilities and skills; in inclusive education, learners are taught by regular teachers and special education teachers (University of Minnesota). By accessing education from these diverse educators, the learners can grasp more knowledge and skills. Inclusive education also enables kids with disabilities to grow in other areas of life. For instance, children in this setting are taught how to follow routines, solve problems, communicate with other kids, and use literacy skills like humor (University of Minnesota, 2018). The peers in inclusive education educate one another on various social values and behavior. Inclusive education also enables the learners to grasp the vital life-skill of teamwork and building. Collaborative work is highly encouraged in inclusive work, with team activities comprising of regular students and special needs helping create collaboration. Positive work relationships develop from this team-building experience in inclusive education.

Through inclusive education, learners can get individualized education, whereby they develop better skills and behaviors from their teachers (Ghergut, 2012). By identifying the learning outcomes and objectives, educators can adopt the Individualized Education Program (IEP) to help them. This technique allows learners to develop more interest in education while also understanding getting more skills from their instructors.

However, despite playing a vital role in ensuring equity in the education system, inclusive education is faced with numerous challenges limiting its implementation. Identification of students with disabilities could be problematic in some regions because parents are skeptical about sending their children to segregated environments. UNESCO (2020), shows that social attitudes and prejudices make most parents skeptical about sending their children to inclusive schools. According to UNESCO (2020), few teachers are trained to offer inclusive education. In most nations, teachers lack the necessary skills to provide this crucial education to learners (UNESCO, 2020). Poor school facilities also limit the level of inclusivity for most schools. Inclusive education requires adequate funding for success to be realized; however, most countries lack adequate resources to ensure this system's success.

In conclusion, inclusive education is critical in the development of the American education sector. Inclusive education not only benefits children with special needs but also helps in building better societies. Through inclusive education, learners develop a sense of belonging and become part of American society. The government should thus spearhead and uphold sustainable, inclusive education.
