Scientific research generally entails gathering lots of information with a view to justify a given concept. Research is normally carried out by adhering to a given standard process for fact-finding. Therefore, a research process is an important tool for learning new ideas that are beyond human experience. This process is very beneficial since students can enhance their knowledge in a particular area thus, providing solutions to some of the problems that are being experienced in the world. The iterative approach of research is instrumental in providing students with a chance to endlessly churn out important information from a particular topic of interest ( Collis & Hussey, 2013)

The effective use of research results help students to clarify confusions. Mastering of research processes helps students to corroborate facts pertaining to a given problem in the society. The knowledge of research processes equips them with the expertise skills of gleaning detailed information from a given problem in the society. With this information, students are able to clarify some of the confusions regarding certain prejudices in the society. It is also important to note that research enhances the knowledge of a given concept. The success of any research processes is determined by the ability of the researcher to logically link the results to the hypothesized expectations. Therefore, it is crucial for students to master the key processes in research in to realize success in any task assigned.

Furthermore, mastering the key steps in a research process helps to equip students with the skill of formulating goal oriented hypothesis. With this knowledge, they are able to understand the true origin of the study. Linking the research process and the obtained results help students to understand how a given conclusion was arrived at and how the solution was formulated from scratch. The results obtained in a given research activity can help to provides major insights on the feasibility of the rationale. With this knowledge, students can be able to broaden their understanding of a given aspect in the society. They can also use the research knowledge to make better decisions in the future. This is because the whole process broadens their thinking ability thus, helping them to analyze possible options before making certain decisions. The knowledge of research processes can also motivate students to consider a given career path. This is because motivation enhances improvement in a particular area of expertise (Dweck, 2013)
