The most intriguing scene in the play is when Agent announces to Mike that he has a chance at Mother of All Theatres. This announcement is a turning point for Mike, who was devastated because he could not get a role in the play initially. Agent had also discouraged Mike, saying he (Mike) could not fit into any role at Mother of All Theatres. The peak of the scene is when Mike pulls a gun and threatens to kill himself if he does not get a role in the Mother of Theatres. Mike wishes to move to a newer place in search of greener pastures because his life in the current town is full of ups and downs. Misfortunes follow the actor because he has not landed a role in his acting career. Every part of a play that Mike gets is cancelled, and he ends up being frustrated to the extent that he wants a new life. However, his financial status does not allow him to move to places like New York and Los Angeles.
