Working with juveniles will not be an easy task, but with a positive attitude and determination, I am ready to take up the challenge. My post as a juvenile probation officer will require me to have the highest level of integrity at all times. The state of law guides me on this. I listen more and judge less. I respect the opinions of others despite their status. Working with underage children who have been exposed to crime is challenging. It can raise the stress level in an individual, but I am ready to take it up. I have learned strategies of stress management such as meditation and exercise. In no time will it interfere with my position at work. Whenever I am stressed, I will be looking for ways to remain calm so that it does not affect anyone around me. I have learned to avoid making any critical decisions when caught up in such scenarios; instead, I manage it first then, later on, face my challenges. I am confident in holding this post and will be able to deliver the best. Apart from my professional experience, my positive attitude and excellent moral and ethical positions will make me the best candidate for this position. It is a challenging job; I am willing to take it up and give the best input towards achieving a crime-free generation. My priority is based on performance, to act as a transition agent to these children. I am therefore the best candidate for the Juvenile Probation Officer position because I have the ability to cope with the stressful situations and have integrity.
