This is proven by the country’s political violence witnessed after the national elections where the former president Kibaki was declared the winner. The opposition led by Raila Odinga claimed that there were malpractices which led to the loser being declared the winner. Violence erupted and as a result, more than 1400 people died in the violence (Brownsell, 2013).
Basing on what was learnt from other sources, the website kenyanembassyberlin.de fails to give an accurate portrayal of the country. It does depict the country as a perfect place with the best people and infrastructure. This is contrary to what some reliable sources say about the country. A further research of the country could reveal more accurate information about the suitability for foreign investment.
