The environment of a classroom is essential for language development. The position of the teacher to the student is essential in how they develop their language. The arrangement of the teacher’s and the pupil's desks play a role in language development. It is essential for the teacher to play an oversight a monitoring role. In child language development, the use of exciting and exiting methods of teaching is a consideration. The children require books that will enable them to build on their vocabulary. They also need teachers mentoring and guidance while they are reading literature. It is also required to have a block area in a classroom where the children can practice what they have learnt. The block area is an opportunity for children to play and develop there imagination hence improving on their language. It is also encouraged when the children are engaged in drama, drawing and use of props. 

The design of a classroom plays a crucial role in how children develop language. As the child’s brain is developing it is vital for the teacher to use expressive, receptive and pragmatic language to the students (Fiechtner, 2017). Having the teacher’s desk on the front of the classroom enables this. The instructor is visible to all the children and can monitor their behavior. They can detect if the children are absorbing what is being taught or not. The teacher is also able to identify a child that is having difficulties and hence use appropriate measures to assist them. This setting additionally facilitates teacher to children communication. When the children converse with the teacher, they feel valued, and this builds the basics of their language improvement

At the left side of the classroom, there are shelves. The shelves are to be used to store books that build on the children’s vocabulary. The books have to be interesting for meaningful engagement. The shelves are placed strategically next to a square rug where the pupils and the teacher can go through the books in a dialogue format. The teacher can involve the children in reading by making them repeat the comprehensions. It enables the child to understand rhythms and learn sentence structures plus storytelling (Fiechtner, 2017). The teacher is also able to explain to them terminology that may seem unfamiliar. 

At the right side of the room, there is a block area that has a circular rug. It is planned a way a child can narrate stories to other children. The pupils can practice language learnt by engaging fellow learners (Fast Language Mastery, 2019). It facilitates the children to run-through pronunciation in a peer-to-peer environment. The teacher is also accessible for guidance. The learners will be able to master articulation and overcome any language blocks. Additionally, they will be able to remember words learned together; therefore, knowledge would be acquired fasted as teaching continues. One gains more as they try to teach each other. 

The block area also adds up as a play region; this is to enable incorporate learning and play. This area allows the child to experiment and explore language, numeracy and science ("Building Language and Literacy Through Play | Scholastic", n.d.). Children interacting with each other as they play facilitate this. In this setting, the objects used can contain names that they have been learning in class. This will create a scenario where they will speak the words among themselves. Some props should be placed in this area for them rehearse. Dramatization can also be included where different student adopts specific roles to play with their colleagues. As a result, it promotes literacy and language advancement. Additionally, it improves their social skills and imagination. The teacher can involve different themes in play to build upon their language. There is a projector at the front of the room to showcase various videos that develop different storylines. As the students learn from these videos, they will be able to practice their observation on the play area. Additionally, they can take roles as depicted by characters in the films. 

At the center of the classroom, a round table is situated. In this table, drawing materials can be placed. The colored dough can be placed here to evoke their imagination. As learners use symbolic props such as drawings and props, they are motivated to use language more comprehensively ("Building Language and Literacy Through Play | Scholastic", n.d.). The round table enables them to communicate ideas with colleagues and therefore building teamwork. It also provides uninterrupted time as they concentrate on developing their creativity. 

In conclusion, the set up of any classroom plays an influential role in children’s language development. Their interaction with the teacher and colleagues should be considered when designing a class. it should include reading materials that are interesting and play areas for the pupils to exercise communication. It is crucial to involve sessions that break the norm. Having a different session to conduct various activities can do this. It is essential to have a class that students learn from each other and can practice whatever they learn. The teacher should be able to have enough room so that they can monitor the progress of their learners.
