"I support your argument about lateralization of our brains, but I do not fully agree that human beings are either right of left brained. From my research opinion, none of the two side of the brain dominates over the other. Indeed, our brain parts work together through connections of the corpus callosum. The right or left side of our brains has different functions as you have named them, such as visual/auditory, memory, and motor skills. Each part has its roles, but no side has a higher localization than the other. The severity of the corpus callosum hinders communication between the left and the right hemisphere of the brain, as you explained in Split-brain Theory discovered by Sperry and Gazzaniga (UVA, 2017). The psychologists argued that the brain may weaken but can still sense stimulus information and process it. I cannot ascertain the report by Cell Press study, which supports that removal of one hemisphere of the brain can compensate for the missing functions.
