During a one on one conversation, the leader did not dominate the conversation. However, he allocated time that he could use to listen to the views of the people he was communicating with. The leaders also communicated with the audience instead of communicating to them. Communicating with the audience made it possible for the leader and the audience to interact during the conversation. Thus, the leader responded to the concern of the people in the audience and they also proposed their views and thoughts (Barrett, 2010) . The interaction paved way for an interactive communication exchange beneficial for both sides. Instead of using harsh words to criticize the people, the leader decided to use polite words while addressing the audience. He gave example and used inclusive words such as “we” instead of “you” to address the audience and his concerns. Thus, he showed that them he cared during the general meeting.

During the general and the one on one meeting, the leader gave full attention while trying to connect. For example, he listened to the audience, asked questions, and requested for clarification to be able to handle the issues effectively. The presenter also maintained eye contact when talking to the audience because he believed that doing so would show the audience that he was paying attention to what they were saying. The presenter also found it important to maintain eye contact because this would also help him read the facial expressions of the audience. Eye contact was important in promoting effective communication (Barrett, 2010) . During most parts of the communication, the leader used storytelling and narration method to air his views to the audience. He also used humor in a controlled manner to communicate with the people. He decided to allow mutual conversation during one on one communication but almost dominated the communication during group meeting to save time.
