Determine why change is so difficult for organizations.

The main reason as to why change is so difficult is mainly due to the fact that it inevitably brings about uncertain atmosphere that challenges job specifications as well as security. It not only brings uncertainty in those two areas but also an additional challenge to the daily routine of the business. Change in most organizations tends to the creation of poor communication between the employees due to the shifting of the position as well as working partners that they were used to. Change can also lead to a lack of involvement from the employees which can eventually lead to resistance to the change being introduced in the business ( Stewart, & Brown, 2019).

Propose ways that human resource (HR) specialists can assist in making change easier.

Some of the ways that can be proposed for the Human Resource specialist in order for them to make the change easier includes working closely with the department that is in charge of training the employees. This will make the change easier in the sense that together they will be able to offer training classes to the employees which can be either done in-person or through online platforms. This will be effective because the employees will be provided with an explanation of why the change is important as well as ways of adapting to the change (Stewart, & Brown, 2019). The other way is through ensuring that the communication lines are always open and easily accessible for those with challenges to the change to seek help and assistance.

Propose two ways that HR can prepare its employees for the changes involved with moving from a domestic assignment to an overseas assignment.

One of the ways on which the human resource can do in the preparation of its employees for the changes involved with moving from a domestic assignment to an overseas assignment is through playing the role of employee advocates. This can effectively help in the management of the technological proponent of the assignment. The advocate role will enable the HR specialist to ensure that the employees are able to understand the basis on which they are being compensated. Another way is for the HR specialist to draft a letter that will contain the salary details as well as the benefits of working in the overseas assignment (Stewart, & Brown, 2019).
