Acts on domestic terrorism have become so rampant; the cases are on the rise with an increasing number in violent acts which are committed by domestic terrorists. The acts pose a threat to the security of the country. According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, domestic terrorism can be grouped into three categories; Right-wing terrorism, which involves groups motivated by different notions such as the white racial supremacy and extremist Christian groups such as those that agitate or may bomb abortion clinics, the right-wing domestic terrorism is on the rice in the United States. Other categories include; the Left-wing and special interest terrorism.
The Trump administration has focused its security efforts in fighting domestic terrorism. President Trump has pushed for several programs that aim at solving the issue of domestic threats. The administration has developed different solutions to solve the issue of domestic terrorism. The National Strategy for Counterterrorism, this is a strategy that the federal government can use to solve the rise of domestic terrorism. Using the strategy, the government may remove hate content from private platforms, because domestic terrorism is highly influenced by radicalized notions, removing the content that incites violence in groups helps in preventing this type of terrorism (Costa, 2015). The government may also blacklist extremist websites and also put pressure on platforms such as YouTube to remove racial content. These efforts go a long way by removing the cycle of radicalization online.

Ensuring law enforcers have tools needed to combat domestic terrorism is another strategy the government may use in solving domestic terrorism. As the number of domestic terrorism increase, it is necessary to review the tools being used by law enforcement agencies to ensure that they remain relevant in the war against domestic terrorist. Among the two, removing hateful content in social platforms is the best solution to combating domestic terrorism in the United States of America. This is because most domestic terrorism is spread through social platforms.
The three branches of government play a major role in combating domestic terrorism; they coordinate to counter the activities of domestic terrorism. State and local agencies provide local jurisdiction and unify in their responses in domestic threats. Among these branches of government, the federal government plays a major role in the fight against domestic terrorism. The federal government formulates different agencies that aim at fighting domestic terrorism, for example, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is formulated by the federal government to investigate different types of cases in the country (Hall, 2013). The federal government also allocates money to these agencies. It also comes up with different structures for the systematic coordination of national response to domestic threats in the country; by this, the federal government includes both crisis and consequence management responsibilities. Under the federal government, the attorney general has the role of implementing policies directed which aim at preventing domestic terrorism attacks. The federal government also formulates different departments mainly to maintain national security, different departments such as Department of Defense support agencies such as the FBI for management of domestic terrorism (Campbell, 2019).
To conclude, the Trump administration has recently focused more on the fight against the rise in the cases of domestic terrorism; these acts pose a major threat to the security of the United States. National security being one of the ideas the issue the Trump government wanted to implement while campaigning, the administration Hs come up with different strategies in the fight against this new threat.
