On 5 th January, I had a great pleasure of attending the most amazing memorable concert by the NDF symphony orchestra of Colorado Denver Performing Arts Complex. The performance contained only two pieces, which were welcomed with earnest applause and praise. The performance was at the Boettcher Concert Hall with approximately 2634 seats, which were comfortable and well designed. About 2000 people attended the function and the concert took around 3hours, with a short intermission.

The piece that began was the violin concerto by Emilie Autumn. It was divided in to movements of three, they began with allegro moderato. Orchestra opened the scene by playing a crescendo until the soloist appeared and conferred the principle themes. There was a varying texture all through from solo violin to the entire orchestra .Violin presented a tune that was heard in various instruments with big differences in dynamics. Though allegro was the dominating tempo. The highlight of the movement was this particular time solo violin made the utmost pitch softly and reduced to a statistic move showing how she had mastery of instrument. The movement was over orchestra playing with a strong beat the fortissimo.

The other movement started in the woodwinds and horns were used this time. The movement was cool with moments of happiness, shown by orchestra who were playing actively. The violins added reducing scales of pizzicato. The tune then changed to violin solo, and ended in oboe which was transferred those who played basses.

Bridget Reagan did the other performance. It was slightly longer in comparison previous. It portrayed a different approach in that it utilized the usual sounds into music, like bird songs, dance tunes that provided a number of tone colors. The two notes in the woodwinds and a thick textured undertone in the strings is what began in the symphony. Glowing fanfare in the cornet along with a light decreasing tone played by the rest of the Orchestra existed. When the movement was over the instrument started playing the beat of fortissimo, which eventually heightened the tension, ending in silent trumpet solo. Finally, the strings owned the whole movement, legato melody being passed from cellos to so-called violins.

The third movement made the most out of drums. Al through this movement the texture, which predominated, was imitative, polyphony since the melody created in various other instruments echoed the woodland. The tone was dark and somber. The absence of drum had brought a weak beat. The movement to a fanfare and cymbal crashes that built many crescendos made me feel orchestra was close to ending notes of the symphony, but proven wrong when another note started the process again. The movement ended with crescendo, which combined the initial two notes with hunting call and reducing note in the cornet.

Though the performance by Bridget Reagan was good, the time he took on stage was long. I in some way got tired and missed the important parts since I had to give myself a break. Generally, the concert was very exciting to listen and watch. The intonation of the orchestra was precise, and all the members of orchestra played well as a whole. It got the attention of the audience. The performers expressed emotion through their bodies, and I almost felt the tension and emotions of the piece purely through their movement. The instruments and the individuals who took place in the performance all proved to be outstanding and interesting as I witnessed them. The performance was the best I ever attended.
