Music is all about beats and lyrics bring about a sensational feeling. The message being conveyed by a musician during events and concerts should match the tone or type of event at the moment. Musicians try to major in one genre of music to maintain the mode of music produced. The audience subjected to the music composed, may fundamentally major on political, economic or social will long to feel a difference among them since each has that personal tone they prefer. Plato tries to explain that the current innovation in music should try to fit the contemporary society. On the other hand, Bernstein suggests that the music being produced should be attractive in a way that the people who are being dedicated the song can feel its essence. 

Bernstein tries to bring in the words of J.F. Kennedy who was among the most loved Presidents of the USA. His words `reasoning and learning' brings out a clear picture of how music should be. Music should at a certain closely matched up with what the audience wants during production and can be understood and reasoned. Bernstein states that music produced should be firm in message deliverance to bring out a significant meaning to the audience.

While Bernstein is trying to major on a specific genre of music, Plato generalises music production by suggesting that the current generation needs a different innovation in songs to bring along a moral society. Some forms of music tend to taint the good image of the current culture by passing on some of the unwelcoming messages which in return make mainly the youth adapt bad behaviours . Wright, (2017) would suggest that indeed it would be important for the government to control was is being passed to the audience through this different form of music.
