During this period the adolescent and the young adult undergo a series of changes in their life.

Biological Development

That is where the youth and early adulthood members undergo series of changes in their body as they have reached full hormonal maturity. Their body parts increase like ladies rose hips and breast. The male always has raised chest and beards start to appear. Their sexual reproductive parts also growth in size.

Cognitive Development.

At this stage this stage their brain connections are strengthened, and remaining parts of the brain are pruned away. That is what makes a difference between an adolescent and emerging adult because the latter will make a fewer impulsive decision and rely more on planning and evaluating of the situation.

Abnormal development

Here people showing signs of disorder do not seek help due to stigmatization .they always tend to ask for help after they have finished the stage of early adulthood.

There are also some other things they always undergo:

Parent-Child Relationship

Parents at this time need to give their children more liberty by increasing the amount of privacy they offer to them and extending their trust towards them. However, children still depend on their parents at this stage. One of the need id financial supports to further their education. Also, they require emotional support.

Sexual Relationship

People at this stage of adolescence and emerging adulthood get sexually attracted to the opposite sex. Most of the times the parents may have no or very little control over that .the only thing she or he might do is to talk to their child and inform him or her of the dangers or consequences.

Challenges of Adolescent

Over the few years, there has been increased accident more so road accidents for the adolescent and young adult. They tend to drive with small experience .their conclusions tend to make their mind think they are mature and can do anything without engaging their brain. The result of this is always accidents.

Suicide is another great challenge amongst the adolescent and early adults. As I have earlier stated that the parents are required to give their children liberty at that stage, the youth always tends to shy off. Some of the decisions that the always make are very regretful .lucky somebody to console him or her, the person imagines that there is nobody who cares about his life.In the end, the person always ends up taking away his or her life.

This group of people also experiences early pregnancy. They always find themselves attracted to the opposite sex .without control they engage themselves in premarital sex. Eventually, they end up with first pregnancy with barely anything to use to take care of their infant.

Eating disorder cannot be forgotten. Due to peer pressure, most of this people will like to be like their friends. Observing his friend is muscular or if she is a lady she sees that her friend has mature back and breast she will desire to have such a body. As a result, she or he will resort to poor eating habits and weight lifts to attain the body you want,

Alcohol is another issue that the young adult faces always ends up using alcohol due to various reasons. Maybe other purposes it as early as they are in high school due to peer pressure? Others are because of stress and while other use it due to poor parental guidance.

During this stage, parents are always encouraged to take through their children at this juncture. They can do this through various ways; 1. By is showing love to them. It is evident that parents can love their children but not necessarily love what they do. That love will always make them open to you as a parent.2. Also provides support. Support is strongly required because the suffer by struggling with problems .when they do something commendable as a parent do not hesitate to praise the job well done.3. Set limits. As a parent the keep the boundaries and stand firm to them. That will always keep you children safe physically and emotionally.4.Be a role model. Parents should live a life that their children will like to develop. Ensure that your actions speak louder than you words.5.Teach responsibility. That will keep you children proactive and responsible .it will allow him or her take care of life.6.Talk about differences. In the case of arising in differences tell you child your concern, firmly but calmly to prevent battles.7.Avoid overreaction. Avoiding anxiety and emotions out of conversation will keep your child very open to you.

By doing all this, there is some lesson learned by raising a child through their immature stage.

Avoid Bad Habits

When you come to your child through the stage of youth and young adulthood, he or she will have a good character. Due to you constant takes with him or her he will be able to distinguish between the right and wrong. Many times some things will come to their life, but the will know how to handle.

Be Friendly

You child will find it very easy to associate with you. Unlike those parents who do not take care of the children in adolescent, the child will share with you the challenges she or he is facing. Even his association with other people will be high. He so she will not feel stigmatized because of the stage.

Avoid Bad Companies

The child will not find himself in various evil companies or hang around with wrong people. You will have already informed him or her on what type of people he should be walking with. This will do you a great deal as a parent because he will be involved in dismal indiscipline case.
