I found this article quite useful to me as a parent with a child in school. The most relevant and worthwhile question addressed in this article for me is on how I can tell if differentiation is happening for my child as a parent. The techniques include even direct questions to the teachers to find out the way they have differentiated my child. Some of the questions that this article raised in my head included whether my child had any choices associated with the learning tasks given to him as homework.
