My personal disposition revolves around the desire to offer the best education for all my students at any given time. As a teacher, I want to design my teaching instructions to cater for all needs of my students. This includes the students with special needs, English language learners, and fast learners at all times. Secondly, I expect very high achievements from my students at all time. In other words, I develop faith and belief in my students that they can achieve anything regardless of their abilities. On this note, I do not prejudge my students’ skills to perform specific duties. I also make attempts to handle my students without any bias or prejudice; I regard my students as equal regardless of their race, religion, or gender.
In addition to that, I make an attempt to express persistence in guiding my students towards achieving their dreams and targets. On the same note, I expect positive results from all my kids and attempt to believe in them. I avoid making unfavorable comparisons that undermine my students’ abilities like comparing them to another group. I encourage my students to work hard to achieve certain levels and to always set targets they can achieve. Above all, all these tend to assist me in providing maximum learning chances for students. Moreover, they enable me as a teacher to promote students’ achievements at all times and all levels of study. Most importantly, I work on killing an existing stereotype that may discourage my students from reaching their levels.

Self-Assessment
As a student teacher and in the various teaching capacities, I have served either in practice or actual teaching. I have engaged in a number of activities that supports my dispositional statement above. I always seek additional teaching materials to supplement what is provided by my supervisors and heads — for example, downloading some videos from the internet to demonstrate certain concepts. In addition to that, I accommodate and respect the diversity in cultures that various students represent in class. On this note, I use multicultural examples in class to ensure that I appreciate every culture. I also do my best in getting to know the individual needs of my students and meeting them at a personal level. As a teacher, I understand that my students may have unique needs; I seek their needs and try to meet them.
Normally, I also appreciate answers from my students even if they are wrong. I believe that this is good in encouraging them always to attempt doing the same thing until they get to know it. To ensure the same, I also work on my students’ assignments on time, make it to class appointments on time, and correct them promptly. Correcting them is good for helping them identify where they made a mistake and correct them. Apart from that, I also participate in my students’ group work.
Growth and What I will Improve on
I have made tremendous growth in handling students. I have learned to handle special needs students, English learners, and students with disabilities. Apart from that, I have also learned to solve students’ problems whenever they present them to me because that improves their confidence in me.
Nevertheless, I know that there are areas that I still need to work on as a teacher. Balancing the various needs of students is always a challenge. As much as I try to satisfy every need by every student, their divergent nature still confuses me as a teacher. Additionally, different administrations have different expectations from teachers; meeting some expectations prove an uphill task.
