Interview Summary
The interview aims at getting material information regarding problem-solving strategies applied in the health sector. The interviewee viability to providing such information is determined by her experience in the field of health after having worked in that sector for more than ten years. She is also a holder of a Master's Degree in Public health which enables her to tackle issues associated with health. The lady begins by highlighting the duties associated with her position at work. These responsibilities include the provision of funds to support HIV protection programs both locally and internationally. She is also entitled to planning, coordinating and monitoring those programs to ascertain their success.
The competence presented in solving health problems requires an individual to have professional and technical skills to manage the organization (DeLaurentis & Callaway, 2004). As a result, a question asked about her credentials and experience to perform this task revealed that she has Master's in Public Health Studies as well as corporate management skills. According to the interviewee, recommendable strategies for solving problems in the health sector include excellent organizational skill and proper communication structures. That primarily mean one must have the capability of conducting several projects at the same time. Procedural recommendations and yearly reports should be prepared in time to enhance reliability in the system. Evaluation should also be performed regularly to carry out adjustments where necessary. On the other hand, good communicational skills result in efficiency in the public health system. According to her, working over the weekend has enabled her to meet the target although the time might fail to be compensated at the end of the month. The decision-making process should also be reinforced by a model that will enable the institution to make practical choices. Eventually, proper communication is a strategy that unites all the others by ensuring that information is passed to the right people at the right time to serve the correct purpose. Delays in the public health sector have contributed towards its failure.

From the findings, problem-solving in the area of public health is something that requires a high level of professionalism. Among the above-discussed techniques of solving problems, communication has been highlighted as the most important element to have in this field. It has enabled the interviewee to access material information from patients and other people to help her manage the ongoing projects. Application of problem-solving techniques helps health institutions to increase sufficiency at work. They also enjoy the advantage of controlled conflict within the organizations. With suchbenefits, employees have a humble time to work on their daily project and hit targets. It is recommendable for the government to increase the number of staffs in this field to reduce the amount of pending workload. That will also lead to the early completion of projects locally and globally.
